Peterson Fyreside 18-Inch Live Oak Log Set with Vented Burner, Natural Gas Only. 68-YE. Vented Gas Logs with SPK-26 Safety Pilot control Valve and Gas Line Connection Kit. The outstanding craftsmanship of RH Peterson captures tradition and quality with the natural realism of the 18-inch Live Oak log set. The high-definition bark enhances the natural wood look. The logs are crafted from superior refractory ceramics which provide radiant heat even after the burner has been turned off. Each log has a steel rod insert for maximum reinforcement, and the vented design means they burn efficiently to reduce pollution and protect natural resources. The included Auto-Safety Pilot System (Model SPK-26) allows for turning the Flame On & Off and adjusting the flame height with a turn of a knob. Set Includes: 6 Gas Logs, Grate, Sand, Glowing Embers, Vented Burner, Auto Safety Pilot Control Valve and Gas Connection Kit. Burner Output: 39,000 BTUs (Natural Gas Only)

This fireset looks great. The material, including the burner, grate, and logs are first class. Easy to install and assemble. It included plenty of "embers" and sand and fits nicely in the fireplace. The burner releases flames evenly under the logs. I did need an additional flexible connector hose as it replaced a wood burning set-up with gas "starter" so the included burner was too short to direct connect. I also bought additional lava rocks (not included) to spread across the firebox flooring. ... show more

I brought these logs in January 2025 and this far have been unable to use them. My certified technician said the thermacouple is too far from the pilot; there the logs will not stay lite. I’ve tried to work with the seller but seems like I’m getting the run around. I’ve sent pictures they’ve requested but then they come back wanting more pictures. The media could not be loaded. I live in a four bedroom house in NE Penna, I was looking for something to keep the living room and kitchen comfortable and let the rest of the house stay a little cooler. I installed these logs (took about an hour). Gas line was already there. Perfect timing, the night I installed them temp dropped to -12. The logs worked perfectly, and honestly with the temperature on a normal 20 degree day I never turn the logs above half way! I would definitely recommend these, and they are so much better built than local box store junk! One last thing, in my dealings with customer service, they were very helpful and I felt they were actually there for customer service!! ... show more
