We wanted to make fondue with my parents' vintage 70's fondue pot. The listed measurements of these cans matched the size of the holder on our stand so I purchased a set. I was impressed with the included 'wrench', it really made it much easier to open the can. Once opened and in place, time to fire it up! First, I want to say the the wick makes it much nicer, and more controllable to use than the old Sterno cans. Fired this baby up and moved the pot over from the stove, and it never lost a degree of heat. Very nice! The fondue stayed the perfect temperature throughout the entire meal and we had a text book La Religieuse left at the bottom of the pot when we were done. Textbook perfect fondue thanks to this fuel! The can says it should last 6 hours... our entire meal was maybe 45 minutes, but when we extinguished the flame and let it cool of a bit, it still felt full when I put the cap back on. Once again, the wrench made it really easy to tighten. Don't want to lose any of that fuel to a loose fitting cap! We're looking forward to the next fondue meal, and looking forward to using this fuel to heat it. Highly recommended!
