If you expect a strong wind out of this fan, this isn't what you are looking for. But, if you want a gentle breeze that stirs the air and moves it towards you, this is a dandy little unit. We keep our home pretty cool during the winter and augment the heat in our living room with a Kerosene heater. The metal cage on top did not conduct enough heat into the base of the fan, so we simply placed it inside a metal 8x8 baking pan and voila! Worked like a charm. The pan catches the heat from the space heater and conducts it evenly to the fan base where it is hot enough now to activate the fan. From five feet away we can just barely feel air movement, but the room overall feels much more evenly heated and is exactly what we were looking for. I recommend this little unit for moderately sized rooms.

I bought this for my buddy heater for my ice shanty and it works perfectly at keeping the warm air circulating. Easy to use just set it on top of the heater. Only a couple things not so great the blandes bend fairly easy and when it’s time to go it needs a few minutes to cool down

I recently purchased the JossaColar Heat Powered Stove Fan, and I am very pleased with the results. While these are often advertised for wood stoves, I decided to try it on my kerosene heater, and it works flawlessly. Here are the highlights from my experience: Silent Operation: This fan is genuinely silent. You don't hear a hum or a whir, which is great for keeping the room peaceful. Airflow: Despite being silent, it moves a decent amount of air. It really helps push the heat out into the room instead of letting it all rise straight to the ceiling. Included Accessories: The magnetic temperature gauge that came with the fan worked great and is a very useful tool to have included in the box. Overall, this is a solid product that does exactly what it promises. If you are looking to get better heat circulation from your heater, whether wood or kerosene, I highly recommend this.

JOSSA COLLAR Heat Powered Buddy Heater Fan The set comes with the fan, an aluminum plate that is designed to safely slide onto the heater grill, and a magnetic thermometer and instructions that will take you to a video demonstrating how to assemble and attach them to your heater. The components were well packaged and arrived on time. The action of the fan is thermodynamic. The fan turns due to the heat of the heater which means NO added electric expense, it will quite literally pay for itself due to D batteries no longer being necessary to operate the heater's built-in blower. In fact, the fan seems more powerful than the blower in the heater was and therefore warms a larger area. Its simple but extremely effective design moves 150 CFM of warmed air, keeping it warm and comfy when we do laundry . The function is so simplistic and we don't need to worry about it shorting out. It's as quiet as a whisper and all of the air is warmed. It will pay for itself entirely the next time I would've had to buy batteries. Also, the fan can be pointed in different directions on the plate in order to change the warm air focus by 90°! This is one of the BEST purchases I've ever made!!

The fan works great. It's not like a box fan or anything but for what it is it blows air and works perfectly. The only thing I noticed is that it has a certain frequency it puts off. I have to take it off the stove when I'm going to bed so I can hear that frequency.

I was a little bit skeptical on this fan considering how affordable it was, but it works really well and the little thermometer that comes with it is a great way to monitor the fire without needing to open the door. This fan really gets moving, but unless you were looking at it, you wouldn't know it's moving. It's incredibly quiet.
