How to use your heat powered stove fan: Be sure to position the stove fan on the top of your stove, place it on a smooth flat surface, and near the side or back of the stove. The hotter the stove is, the more air the fan circulates. The stove fan is designed for usage on freestanding stoves with a normal surface temperature of between 176°F and 653°F. Remove the fan from the stove if the temperature exceeds 653°F. Never handle the base of the stove fan, do not set the stove fan down on an unprotected surface when hot.To move or carry the fan, always use the extendable handle. Warm reminder: Placing fireplace fans on both sides of the top of the fireplace, can better improve the hot air circulation, save more fuel cost, and reduce the wood consumption of the stove.

I had installed a Mr Heater Burry and wall mounted it in a deer blind. It would work good but I wanted a way to distribute the heat in the blind better and this is exactly what I was looking for. They have a clip included with this to install on the top of a Mr. Heater Buddy which works perfect in the location I mounted it. I was very impressed with the product quality and performance of this right out of the box. There is very little noise, and with no batteries or power supply, other than heat from the heater, it works great for this application. I find myself having to turn off the heater now much more frequently which results in less propane being used. Will pay for itself soon in just fuel savings. Going to try this out ice fishing next if we get enough ice this year. It is designed well but would have to design a case for it to transport to prevent damage to the blades as they are exposed. Been using this over a year now time for a review. Even at a sub optimal temperature this fan moves heat. Works well has stood up to a few bumps and hits no problem . I paired it with an ashley vented propane heater and couldn't be happier.

Update : since posting this review I've been contacted numerous times by a variety of people, all from weird email addresses, asking me to remove my review and they would send me $30 refund ,,, I find it rather telling that instead of offering to send me a replacement fan, they are offering a partial refund ? and the fact that I have not responded or done as they asked, they continue to email me, a different person each time, from a different address, asking the same thing, for me to remove my review in exchange for a partial refund ? I believe these are from an "offshore" supplier of these fans, and definitely not the correct way to do business ! Beware ! I've purchased the single bladed version of these fans before, and they've been great. Moved a good bit of air, this double bladed version moved very little air even though there are two blades they are much smaller than the single blade fans. to top it off this one quit working after about a month, now won't spin at all . ... show more

    • Very quiet and warms up (runs) quickly. They do move air, just at a very low level.
The fan(s) were purchased to move air from a propane furnace in a small toy hauler. The furnace is a small propane unit that is vented to the outside and does not have a blower. This allows it to be used without drawing down the house batteries. However, there is very little air movement. I purchase two fans based on previous reviews that said they run well but lack power. Placing one fan on the heater, did not move enough air to mix the cold floor air and the warm ceiling air. Using two fans did make a difference and I believe it would take three fans (not enough room on the top of the heater for more than two) to provide enough mixing. The fans are super quiet and start up within 1 minute of the heater being turned on. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are just a little underpowered for what I had hoped for. Running 2 fans does produce a small (but noticeable) difference in the thermal layering experienced in heating the trailer in freezing temperatures. I would like a little more air movement but I am okay with what it does and there is no battery drain like you get with a regular trailer furnace. Plus, even at the lowest heat setting, they run constantly. ... show more

I bought two of these fans, one to use on my stove in my hot tent and one for my wood stove at home and I love them. They run completely silent and heat up pretty quickly and start turning and throwing out heat. I was worried about overheating them, especially the one at home but I have had ripping hot fires going in that cast iron stove and had no problems whatsoever. ... show more

I purchased this fan on January 25,2022. We use it during the winter months only, so at most 4 months per year. To this point we have used it for a total of 8 months. It has always made a faint clanging sound but worked well. Just this week it has stopped working. Everything looks as it has since purchased. It worked last week and then all of a sudden it just stopped. The fire was at the same temperature and has remained for 48 hrs but the fan (both sides) is no longer turning.
