This fireplace arrived very quickly and as stated, in 2 boxes. Assembly and setup was fairly easy and straight forward although there was one small piece that was confusing on how to actually install it according to the manuals diagram. A quick search on YouTube provided me the answer on where it went and the rest wasn’t too hard, although I would recommend having at least one extra person (maybe two) to help hold the bigger, heavier pieces while you’re attaching them. The “wood” pieces of the mantle were in pretty excellent condition out of the box, although there were some very minor imperfections you can see in the close-up photos in the spots where glue was used for pieces that were pressed together. But those could be fixed easily and colored in to reduce their visibility. The instructions were fairly straight forward and the remote control is easy to use, albeit a little small which could be good or bad depending on your preference. First off, this product is very large and grand. It easily becomes the focal point of the living room. The mantel is very easy to put together, where every piece is labeled with a number corresponding with the instructions. Note the last piece, number 13 is not outlined in the instruction; but is easily visible in the diagram. My fireplace came with a few tiny scratches which bothered my at first considering the price, however I quickly started to overlook them. The heat from the fireplace is amazing. Really nice and slinder unit. Only down side was by the time I was able to put it up, return or request for a replacement, that window closed already. Mantal part arrive a little damaged. But works GREAT!!!!! HIGHLY recommend this if you are placing in ur room or a smaller living room setting. Beautiful design!!! ... show more

    • Way OVERPRICED and stones are shiny and plastic looking
I received my fireplace a few days ago (took a lot longer to ship than stated) and just hate that I spent this amount of money on something so fake looking. I have 2 other fireplaces ( a fireplace in my room and another fireplace insert that puts out more heat than this one and its very small). The stone looks 100 % plastic and its shiny. The pieces do not match up correctly so you have cracks everywhere also ( which you can fix with caulk etc but ruins warranty). I do not like it at all. They were selling this fireplace for 1400 a few months ago and have took advantage of the crazy market and they went up. Alot of these reviews are from that price or lower. Is it worth the price is it now? Not at all!!! I believe this fireplace is worth about 1200. Wood is cheap ( except for mantle and base) and screws literally starting poking through after a few days?? Very disappointed and I researched for about 2 months before purchasing. If you do not expect a lot then go ahead and purchase, but if you are looking for something elegant and classy and made well KEEP LOOKING. ... show more
