Getting back into training after some years break. Needed a new bag. This one is more than tall enough for me at 5’10”. I wanted a free standing this time to save space. I was worried about the legs sticking out too far but they do not and they give extra stability. Full force hits can move it still but I have it on rough concrete so the suction cups are not fully working. Originally the package was missing the gloves. I messaged the seller and they promptly sent me my gloves and I got them before I even checked if they responded. Sign of a great company. ... show more

I don't like hanging bags... I just don't like the center of gravity being way up top and making me chase it around while it's swinging... they are garbage ... The only ones which are good are the huge long UFC style ones. But yea... otherwise I prefer a standing punching bag. This one you have to put stand in the bottom. I used to have the WaveMaster 1, little kid bag... u can kick it over easily. But this one... even though it looks funky with those suction cups (which are pointless actually cuz i put my bag on concrete outside but whatever) The extension of the legs is what makes it good. Cuz that adds more surface area to root it into the ground. With sand in this bag I cannot kick it over... It will tilt maximum of 20 degrees... and thats with a flying rotating side thrust kick or something like that... If you put water in it ... it's lame. Don't do that. Buy sand. fill it up. It will stay there. & Good luck moving it lol. I'd say this is the best bag i've owned. It's cheaper than the WaveMaster XL or whatever it's called and that one is good too, but I think this one is worth getting for the savings. WaveMaster is overpriced. I have to say the bag is maybe little bit TOO flexible... I dunno... I kind expected a bit less flexion in it. It's almost like a speed bag in a way... At the top. It's not crazy bouncy but it is more bouncy at the top than I expected. But Its not a bad thing actually. Good for jab training anyway. It's not going to flex a huge amount, but it does flex... I'd say A BIT too much maybe. Maybe they should fix that by extending the center pole up farther inside the bag cylinder. But yea still by far best bag I've had. I love it. But actually U can do crescent kicks on it too. I mean it's perfect for that cuz yea the Flexion allows for that. First bag i've ever experienced that's allowing crescent kicks. So maybe the flexion is good! Normally u can't do crescent kicks on any bag! Ur leg will just not go through.... THIS BAG ALLOWS IT! It's amazing... imho it's stupid to hang a bag up it's not like people are standing on the ceiling... center of gravity should be down low. ALSO this bag allows low kicks... it has extra padding... ankle level kicks are fine. First bag i've ever seen that allows that. I gotta say this bag will greatly improve your skills. Also this bag is outside and it has withstood the weather ok so far. It's really good. Love this bag. U should buy it. What would be cool is to attach some wooden dummy arms to it... .but maybe i'm nuts. lol ... show more

So, I'm a beginner boxer although i've been learning slowly and off and on for a few years. I'm only 116 lbs and 5'4''. So getting this thing delivered was kind of a pain, but more so for the seller because of the snowstorms all over the country. It was not their fault and when I complained about it, they refunded my shipping cost. So the thing finally gets here. One thing I was worried about from the pictures was if my stubby little arms were gonna be able to get in there with this rather wide base. Yes, no problem. From my shoulder to the end of my fist is about 2 ft. No issues with the base getting in the way of being able to hit the bag. The impact on the bag is similar to the impact I felt in boxing gyms I've taken classes at. But instead of the bag sometimes swinging around, this bag does tilt. It's much much quieter than the air-filled cardio bag I had before, and unlike that one does not recoil a whole lot which is good if you're working on punches and not cardio specifically. There were no gloves with the package but I didn't really care about them anyway and already had some. So, I filled the base with water being as how i'm a beginner lightweight. Plenty sufficient, esp with the suction cups on the bottom. Actually, the suction cups stuck to the concrete floor of my apt so well that now I literally can't move the thing. I'm sure if i got another pair of hands to help me but for right now the bag is going to live where i put it together. So the bag doesn't move at all and I think the suction cups also create an additional sound prevention from the base to the floor. So this is a good product. I was thinking of getting the Fight Camp stuff and so glad I didn't because this is totally fine. ... show more

1) This boxing bag comes in two packages. They may come in separate shipments. 2) My husband helped me to assable this bag. It wasn't difficult, but he wanted to help and had a good idea for filling out the stand with sand. Instead of using a funnel, he has cut a hole in the bottom of the bag (not too large, but enough to control how much is realesed) and slowly poured the sand out into the stand. 3) I had used the bag for a month and it is perfect, I am glad I chose this one. I use it for Krav Maga and needed a bag with adequate space for practicing punches and kicks. 4) I cover it with outdoor chimney cover to prevent my cats jumping on top :) This bag is tall and sturdy and works well for my purpose. ... show more

    • It takes a while to get sand in there if that's what you're dong.

Like it very much and very glad I got it. Sometimes the suction cups lift a little, but I haven't kicked it over yet! It did, though, take quite a long time to get all that sand in there through the little hole with the little funnel. Seems to me they could have had the opening for send and attaching cap both be about twice as big in diameter, without losing any structural integrity, and still providing a nice seal--which would have saved a lot of time. Maybe it was because we weren't using the finest sugary sand in the world, but some that had some moisture in it. So, that was a bit frustrating, but I otherwise am really grooving on having something like this to be able to kick hard with my old Tae Kwon Do kicks I learned when I studied many years ago. Sometimes the gym has bags up, sometimes not; now I can kick for 5 or 10 minutes every day, which makes me happy. ... show more
