Description

Where the pavement ends, the real ride begins. The Razor RX200 Electric Scooter takes you off the beaten path and straight into dirt, grass, and gravel with high-torque trail performance that laughs at rough terrain. Crank the twist grip, and you’ll hit speeds up to 12 mph—enough to feel the wind in your face without losing control. Built tough for the wild, the RX200’s heavy- duty steel frame and fork are paired with riser-style handlebars, a triple- bolt clamp, and full-deck grip tape for maximum stability and rider confidence. Soft rubber grips keep your hands comfortable, while the alloy wheels wrapped in 60 PSI on/off-road tires give you all the traction you need for dirt track thrills. Under the deck is a riding power that lasts. A 24-volt rechargeable battery system (two 12-volt sealed lead-acid batteries) feeds a chain-driven motor with a fresh gear ratio for punchy low-end torque. That means more pull on hill climbs, faster takeoffs, and up to 40 minutes of continuous ride time. When you’re ready to refuel, just plug in the included charger—no tools, no fuss. Ride, park, repeat. The twist-grip throttle makes acceleration smooth and intuitive, while the hand-operated rear disc brake delivers sharp, responsive stopping power. A spring-loaded retractable kickstand keeps your ride upright when you’re off exploring. With a weight capacity of 154 pounds, the RX200 is perfect for teenager riders (ages 13+ years old) who want more than just another trip around the block. From weekend trail rides to backyard adventures, this scooter was built for riders who like their fun a little rough around the edges—and a lot more exciting.

  • Great Scooter!
We purchased this for our 6 year old son for Christmas. I was worried that this scooter would be too big and powerful for him, but it couldn't be more perfect. I liked this version over the other electric scooters because of the off-road option - my son can ride this around the backyard and I don't have to worry about him on the street. Plus it's sturdy and powerful enough for my older daughter and even my husband and I. I wouldn't say that this is for every 6 year old though. My 9 year old daughter tried this and was very timid while riding it (kept jumping off if it started going to fast), and she just didn't have the coordination to control it. But my son is very coordinated when it comes to sports generally, and he rode it like a pro from the second he stepped on it. He would probably make it go faster if it was an option. The handlebars do not adjust, but this hasn't been a problem for any of us. ... show more

  • Son loves it
My 10 year old son loves it and rides it every day. At first he thought it was too fast but once he got the hang of it he wanted it to go faster. The wheels are great. He was able to go over our lawn just fine. It’s really sturdy. My son talked me into getting my giant rear end on it for a try. It handled my 230 pounds just fine on flat terrain. ... show more

  • Works great on dirt and grass!
My 11 year old son loves it! It rides well, keeps it charge for a good two hours (though maybe not 2 hours of constant use), and feels very durable. We ride it on sidewalks as well as grass and dirt fields and it keeps its speed. The only concern is my son (and his friend who bought one right after us) gets blisters on his fingers where they rub against the handle bar because of the vibration. would be nice if this product could pad the area more where the handles meet the bar. Both boys now wear cycling gloves and its helped prevent more blisters. ... show more

  • Super fast and super fun
These things are so much fun. They are super fast though if you are buying for a kid. We got them for our 8 and 9 year olds. We had them learn to drive them in grass so they wouldn’t hurt themselves if they fell and until they got their confidence up. It does require balance because they’re heavy and are not self standing. We’ve taken them to dirt and rock trails and to parks with grass. The battery runs out quicker but still has a good two hour battery life when used non stop and on various surfaces. I definitely recommend them ... show more

  • BUYER BEWARE!! YOU MAY RECEIVE A USED SCOOTER. BUYER BEWARE!! YOU MAY RECEIVE A USED SCOOTER.
To be clear, I gave this seller a "1 star", if possible I would have rated much lower. I purchased this scooter as a birthday present. When I received it, it was clearly a USED product. The scooter itself had caked on dirt and mud as well as scratches all over the body and handle bars. I highly recommend you purchase elsewhere. I ended up purchasing from Walmart for $234.88 and added a 3 year protection plan for $34.00. Since receiving the new scooter purchased through Walmart, it has been used every single day- multiple times a day! :) It's absolutely perfect and fun for riding around the neighborhood on sidewalks and even through dirt and grass. It's easy to assemble but does require you wait 12 hours for the battery to charge before riding- which is really only a big deal if you have been waiting to ride since your birthday! The RX200 is a great scooter for who/what we intended it to be used for. ... show more

  • Heavy, sturdy, great buy!
Sturdy, runs well on grass and doesn't seem to lag with the heavier children. On the other hand, the scooter is really heavy, not in particularly for smaller children. My child is 4, 45lbs and 39 inches, he can not lift it and struggles to move it while it is inactive. He can, however, ride and maneuver the scooter just fine. The motor seems to have the extra push we have been lacking in the other two Razor scooters we've purchased. The brakes work effectively, stopping more quickly than I would have expected. The deisgn is attractive, although, I find the handle bar to be lengthy. Over all, this is a recommended product. ... show more

  • Great for off road riding.
Our grand kids have lived this scooter. We live on a gravel road in the mountains and the they easily ride to the top. We often go walking and the kids ride their scooter. My only recommendation is to take out the warranty that is offered. The throttle quit working on one of them. They didn’t replace it dollar for dollar but it was a bit more than half. ... show more

  • Out of the box lemon? Out of the box lemon?
My son was so excited when this arrived in the mail, he waited a couple of weeks for it to arrive. When it arrived he waited an additional day to because per instructions you have to charge it for at least 12 hours out of the box, fine. When he started riding a few minutes later he said something is wrong with the front wheel. It appears the front bearing came dislodged! This causes the wheel to wobble side to side and could be dangerous. This is an “off-road” scooter and he was riding it on a mild sidewalk. He wasn’t doing jumps or anything crazy. He’s 9 years old, maybe 75 pounds. Not sure what happened here??? I contacted the phone number on the manual for Razor company and told them the situation, they required proof of purchase and the barcode number on the scooter. They said they would send me a replacement wheel and it would arrive in 2-3 weeks. That’s cool, but I must say I was pretty disappointed. We spent 265.00 dollars on this thing and it hardly lasted the first run. What’s the deal!!?? While waiting for the new part to arrive, I figured out how to disassemble the front wheel and gently hammered the bearing back into place. Note worthy observation when reassembling the wheel: there are 2 bearings, there is a gap between the bearings in the center of the wheel, I believe there should be a spacer when there’s a gap between the bearings on the inside and I think that’s why they came dislodged. Perhaps this was an error during manufacturing? The only spacers were on the outside of the bearings. You’ll have to remove the wheel from the frame, then you should deflate the tire. With tire deflated and removed, you will have to remove the plastic rim/whee clamping the tire and bearings. Once this is done you can gently hammer the bearings back into their sockets. I used a hammer and socket wrench attachment for this. It seems to be riding fine on a test run after my fix. We’ll see how it goes this weekend. I still have a replacement wheel coming which is fortunate. My kid still loves it. Super fun for him, but out of the box I’m disappointed in this product. For the extra cost of having an “off-road” version, you’d think they would make this more sturdy. This review is for the RX200 razor scooter. ... show more
