Description

The Razor RX200 Electric Scooter takes you off the beaten path and straight into dirt, grass, and gravel with high-torque trail performance that laughs at rough terrain. Crank the twist grip, and you’ll hit speeds up to 12 mph—enough to feel the wind in your face without losing control. Built tough for the wild, the RX200’s heavy- duty steel frame and fork are paired with riser-style handlebars, a triple- bolt clamp, and full-deck grip tape for maximum stability and rider confidence. Soft rubber grips keep your hands comfortable, while the alloy wheels wrapped in 60 PSI on/off-road tires give you all the traction you need for dirt track thrills. Under the deck is a riding power that lasts. A 24-volt rechargeable battery system (two 12-volt sealed lead-acid batteries) feeds a chain-driven motor with a fresh gear ratio for punchy low-end torque. That means more pull on hill climbs, faster takeoffs, and up to 40 minutes of continuous ride time. When you’re ready to refuel, just plug in the included charger—no tools, no fuss. Ride, park, repeat. The twist-grip throttle makes acceleration smooth and intuitive, while the hand-operated rear disc brake delivers sharp, responsive stopping power. A spring-loaded retractable kickstand keeps your ride upright when you’re off exploring. We purchased this for our 6 year old son for Christmas. I was worried that this scooter would be too big and powerful for him, but it couldn't be more perfect. I liked this version over the other electric scooters because of the off-road option - my son can ride this around the backyard and I don't have to worry about him on the street. Plus it's sturdy and powerful enough for my older daughter and even my husband and I. I wouldn't say that this is for every 6 year old though. My 9 year old daughter tried this and was very timid while riding it (kept jumping off if it started going to fast), and she just didn't have the coordination to control it. But my son is very coordinated when it comes to sports generally, and he rode it like a pro from the second he stepped on it. He would probably make it go faster if it was an option. The handlebars do not adjust, but this hasn't been a problem for any of us. ... show more

Love the larger knobby tires and good disk brake. Weigh limit says 150 lbs. That is what i weigh and it carries me up my red granite inclined lane. It was bought for the grandkids and they have a hard time sharing it because it is fast and fun. We are in the country and works fine on dirt paths too. Kickstand is a nice addition. Battery port easily reached for charging. Everything as described. Only have to slip the handlebars in the slot and tighten. Charge up the battery like it says to do, but didnt need it, and have some crazy fun. ... show more

To be clear, I gave this seller a "1 star", if possible I would have rated much lower. I purchased this scooter as a birthday present. When I received it, it was clearly a USED product. The scooter itself had caked on dirt and mud as well as scratches all over the body and handle bars. I highly recommend you purchase elsewhere. I ended up purchasing from Walmart for $234.88 and added a 3 year protection plan for $34.00. Since receiving the new scooter purchased through Walmart, it has been used every single day- multiple times a day! :) It's absolutely perfect and fun for riding around the neighborhood on sidewalks and even through dirt and grass. It's easy to assemble but does require you wait 12 hours for the battery to charge before riding- which is really only a big deal if you have been waiting to ride since your birthday! The RX200 is a great scooter for who/what we intended it to be used for. ... show more

    • We like the scooter!
I purchased two of the RX 200 Electric razor scooters my grandson's age 9 and 5. I was concerned the little one may not be able to ride it because the recommended age is 13 and up. The nine-year-old had it figured out after a few tries. The five-year-old we started out on the grass and then moved to the concrete. After a few tries he too had it down and was zooming around doing circles & changing directions without any problems. Using the handbrake to stop is a work in progress. We taught him to let off the accelerator at least slow down before he attempts to jump off. He starting to understand and with time he'll be fine as well. We bought them helmets, gloves, elbow pads and kneepads to help with any falls. Don't let the 13 and up disclaimer sway you from buying this scooter. If the kids can ride a bike and ride a manual scooter they shouldn't have any problem adapting to this electric scooter. We had one small issue on the first day. One of the scooters just suddenly stopped working. We plugged it in to recharge it overnight. The next day it still didn't work so we turned it on and off several times and push the reset button in front of the on off switch. It came on and has been running for the last couple days with no issues. The troubleshooting section of the manual said if that occurred it may be a disconnect on the switch. I'm not sure what happened but we will keep a close eye out and if it happens again, we will let the seller know. I did buy the two-year protection for both scooters just in case anything happened.     • Super fast and super fun
These things are so much fun. They are super fast though if you are buying for a kid. We got them for our 8 and 9 year olds. We had them learn to drive them in grass so they wouldn’t hurt themselves if they fell and until they got their confidence up. It does require balance because they’re heavy and are not self standing. We’ve taken them to dirt and rock trails and to parks with grass. The battery runs out quicker but still has a good two hour battery life when used non stop and on various surfaces. I definitely recommend them ... show more

    • Heavy, sturdy, great buy!
Sturdy, runs well on grass and doesn't seem to lag with the heavier children. On the other hand, the scooter is really heavy, not in particularly for smaller children. My child is 4, 45lbs and 39 inches, he can not lift it and struggles to move it while it is inactive. He can, however, ride and maneuver the scooter just fine. The motor seems to have the extra push we have been lacking in the other two Razor scooters we've purchased. The brakes work effectively, stopping more quickly than I would have expected. The deisgn is attractive, although, I find the handle bar to be lengthy. Over all, this is a recommended product. ... show more
