My son really wanted a electric scooter since he was having a difficult time learning to ride his bike. I gave in and we purchased the unit. It arrived quickly and was well packed. When he first tried to ride it the thing zipped out from under him as it has to be "push started" to go. Eventually he got the hang of it. Fast forward a couple months later. With it being summer time now he decided he wanted to start riding it again. We charged it up, he rode it, then it would randomly shut off. So we put it back on the charger thinking maybe it didn't take a full charge? Kept doing it again and again. Eventually I called the company and they told me I need to buy a new power switch and it would be $5. The switch itself doesn't turn itself off. It's not a breaker. When I asked her about other parts to possibly trouble shoot she came back with prices that made me laugh. Plus side!!! I don't know if it was from months of my son riding his scooter or what but he wanted to try to ride his bike again. He was pushing himself around with his feet trying to ride his bike. I went to grab my weed wacker from the garage and when I came back he was down at the end of the street. He went from not being to ride a bike to BAM riding one in less than five minutes with no help. Now that he can ride his bike with out training wheels he has ZERO interest in his scooter anymore. That thing was to mast for my 5year old thatbweigh 48lbs lol it was nice he loved it and wanted to try again after it put him innthe bushes but insaid no..and packed it up so fast maybe when he's 10 but not now..but it even had me going fast and I'm over 200lbs lol
