The sole on these work so I'm not feeling every rock on the trail. The upper’s a little lighter than i was used to but i can live with it. Just lace em up tight. These shoes seem to run a bit small. You may want to order a size and half larger than your regular shoes. If you intend to hike long distances definitely go with the wide if possible. Other than that these shoes look good, feel very comfortable out the box and feel very light. Only time will test the durability however they seem to be a fair quality for the price. ... show more
