The handles dont adjust which is a downside. I like that you have to give a few kicks/pushes to get it started. The media could not be loaded. Purchased this for my 8-year-old for Christmas (2024). He loves it! The battery lasts a long time, too! I love how you can change the speed as well. It was nice to start slow, and once he got used to it, we increased the speed to the second option (not ready for the fastest option just yet). It starts slow, so it doesn't jolt you forward like a few other scooters we have purchased on Amazon and had to return in the past. You also have two options for breaking. One on the handle and one on the board for your back foot. It comes to a slow stop, so again, no jolting. The lights are beautiful and are perfect to use during our sunset and night rides. We also like the music option so he can "jam" while he rides. The music you hear from my video is from the scooter. Very clear and has great sound! Would highly recommend it and would purchase it again! ... show more

I bought this for my 8yo daughter in December of 2020. I’ve since realized Buying a scooter over the winter holidays is a flawed strategy if you live in a climate w snow, as the scooter didn’t see real use until spring of 21, a long time after purchase. She weighs around 70 lbs and is quite agile and athletic fit her age. Had no trouble adapting to it within about 10 minutes of use, but needed some practice using the break instead of dragging her feet to stop. Speed and handling are perfect for her. We were generally getting 3-4 miles before needing a recharge so it’s perfect to take to local parks for play. The batteries died early this summer. Razor customer service was excellent. I had to pay for the batteries but they reduced or waived ( can’t remember right now) the shipping making it around a 45 dollar purchase. I’m not handy w wires or electricity but changing the batteries was pretty simple once I’d watched an online tutorial. Power and range w the scooter is back where it should be. My daughter still loves using it close to a year after first purchase. Overall my only complaints about it are based on my initial inexperience w scooters and not the fault of razor. 1) it is fairly light but still a PITA to carry once it loses power. I’m strong but pushing my own bicycle while trying to console my crying kid w this scooter slung over my shoulder for 1.5 miles when the battery died convinced me to start looking at folding scooters once she outgrows this. 2) I wish it had more range. If I had it to fo over, I might have bought her the power core 90 as that’s supposed to have twenty more minutes use per charge ( it is advertised as going 1mph slower and may be a bumpier ride as the tires are different but for our uses another mile or two of range would be worth the trade off). Overall I’d definitely buy this, or something very similar from razor, again. ... show more

I bought this July of 2024 on a prime day sale for my son’s Christmas gift. It worked great for a few months but has stopped working completely. It won’t take a charge, and the warranty is only for 6 months. We kept it inside over the winter as it states to not leave in below freezing temperatures. I have a sad 8 year old and wouldn’t recommend this since it doesn’t last long, at all. ... show more

I gave this to my grandson for his 10th birthday. A lot of other kids in his neighborhood had one and he felt left out. He was one happy camper. My daughter said the charge seems to last 9-12 hours. Very pleased with this gift.

My son loves this thing. If it was a little bit taller I’d love it too. As a dad I had to make sure it was safe for him to ride on before I allowed him to have it. I almost didn’t want to give it back to him 🤣🤣. He’s had a ball. Durable(he’s wiped out on it a few times), speedy but not too fast, quick acceleration and great brakes. Good quality, it is not very heavy nor very light, it arrived on time, we have had it for a year and it works very well. The battery lasts about 2 hours of continuous use. My 10-year-old started using it without a problem, the 8-year-old struggled a little because it is very strong at startup, but over time he mastered it. remember to wear a helmet! ... show more
