This was a Christmas gift for my 8 year old son. He loved it! It lights up from within the wheel when in motion. So cool! It's heavy and durable...which is good considering my 8 year old will be crashing it, letting it fall on the ground and surely mishandled like all toys. However, its equipped with a (hopefully utilized) kick stand. Didnt have one on mine when I was a kid, we just let it fall. This scooter can be folded in half and the handle bars pull out of the main vertical bar and become parallel with the deck. Yes, scooters have been storage and travel friendly for years. But this has been redesigned to be even more compact and given it's size, it's actually quite impressive. I definitely recommend this Razor. ... show more

We got the green light up scooter and the pink scooter for my granddaughters who have outgrown their smaller scooters. These scooters are nicely designed and work really well. The wheels on the green one light up when it starts to get dark outside. They are very sturdy and made of quality materials. I grabbed this for my son as an Easter present and he hasn’t been off of it since. Everything was set up when it arrived except we had to use the provided tool to set the correct height for the handle bar which we k ew we would need to do. It looks amazing and the wheels light up. The light up wheels are subtle but will be an extra great feature when it is getting dark outside to make our son more visible to cars. We love it. He loves it.     • Stable and fun ride
Got this for my 10 year old to size up from the little kid Razor scooter. It folds up very quickly and easily. The light-up wheels are less spectacular than we were imagining and only show up when it's pitch dark, which is a less ideal time to scooter, but the large wheel size is everything we hoped for! The position of the board below the axle of the wheels makes for a very stable feeling ride and the handlebars adjust to a height that works for me at 5'11". The kickstand leaves a lot to be desired--the way it tucks up makes it difficult to engage and would be nice if it could be optionally put on either side of the scooter for those of us who are stronger right-footed than left. The longer board length is nice for bigger kid feet (10 yo wears women's size 6 shoes) but still feels awkward for large adult feet. I think if I was commuting with this, I'd want a hand brake, but it's great for around the neighborhood, and I would definitely use this scooter myself if I didn't have to fight the kid for it. ... show more

We love the big wheels as they tend to ride on bumpy terrain and these glide over things the regular razor wheels would catch on. My 8 and 10 year-old use them extensively and it's great that they won't outgrow them anytime soon. They also have longer-than-average feet so the larger foot-bed makes riding more comfortable.     • It’s okay. It’s not so good for rough sidewalks or roads.
I bought it to use it from my home to subway which is 20 minutes walk. But the wheels are not appropriate for the sidewalks because even the smallest bumps will hit the wheel and I mean a small stick or few pieces of debris make it hard to roll. So it’s okay for smooth roads. Overall it’s fine
