Razer is a brand I’m very familiar with, and I have bought a few of their products over the years for myself and my son. This headset does not disappoint. They are one of the leading gaming accessory brands for a reason, and you can tell they really focus on design and pain points for customers. Many gamers play for hours a day, so having a comfortable headset is paramount. While I am not a gamer, I wear headphones for work to record how to videos and attend meetings so I need something comfortable and light. The padding is amazing on this headset. The over the ear pads are so soft and comfortable, but what really wows me is the headband padding! It is thick, flexible, mildly firm, but supple and will provide excellent long term protection against “gamer head”. Ok I made up that term, but you know the indent on your head that you get from wearing headsets too long.. THIS should help with that! This IS a wired headset, so no worries about charging or connection issues. Just plug and play. The mic works well and is situated on the left side. Speaking of left side, the mute button and volume control are also on the left ear. As a southpaw, I appreciate finally having a dominant hand controlled headset. Though likely, they did this so the mouse hand could remain occupied, but I choose to(delusionally)believe it’s a nod to us lefties! Lastly, the aesthetics. The cat ears are just so darn cute!!! They don’t light up or anything, but they are very well constructed and affixed! I love that I can have this as a bit of personal flair(peep the username folks) All in all, fantastic product and definitely worth the value. Would absolutely recommend! ... show more

    • Nice headset, comfy for longer sessions
Overall I'm pretty impressed with this headset from razer. I've used plenty of their accessories in the past from mice to mics and they've done a great job again with this headset. Sound quality the headset sounds great, the larger drivers really help with bass so its a decent headset for listening to music apart from gaming. The headset itself is pretty lightweight, since its 3.5mm hardwired only there's no added weight from the batteries and transmitters. The headband is really plush and comfy even after using it for a few hours straight at a time. The earpads are just as comfortable and have a good depth for noise isolation. The microphone quality is just ok, my voice comes through clear enough for games and calls but I wouldn't use it for streaming. For the price, I think its a great value and you're getting a really good headset. Only small complaint is that I do wish that the cat ears were removable. Its a really fun piece of flair but its a pain having to switch headsets if I have to jump into a video call and not look unprofessional. ... show more

Overall: this is a great pair of wired headphones. These headphones fit well on my adult size head, as well as my 8-year-old son's head. The audio facility is quite good though only has two drivers so it does not actually produce 7.1 audio —just produces a 7.1 effect with audio processing software. The microphone sounds good in chats on PlayStation and PC. If I could change over things, I would add usb-c connectivity so I could use it with my phone. Pros: excellent sound isolation, high quality drivers give great sound quality, fit is great, microphone works very well, integrated volume and mute are really handy Cons: not actually 7.1 since they are just stereo headphones, the ears are not removable, 3.5 mm cable is integrated and cannot be swapped with a longer or shorter cord, does not support USB c. ... show more

    • The "Kitty" ears are not removeable!
Just got these in and had to try them out. First I tried them while gaming. I found a whole new experience with these headphones! With the microphone I was able to communicate with my teammates and they told me my mic sounded clear and good to them. Their speech came across clear, but with a bit more bass than I'd prefer. The only controls on the headset is the mute button and the volume wheel. So, I'll have to adjust the tone in the computer later. I didn't much like the "Kitty" ears on the headset, but I liked everything else about them. So, I had planned on removing the "ears" after I got it. But, I don't see any good way to remove them without dismantling part of it, so I'll just leave it as is. I listened to some music also and it sounded great, with the stereo feature working perfectly. All in all, with the exception of the "kitty ears" I'm fully satisfied with these gaming headphones! ... show more
