  • Gorgeous mouse!!
Color: Classic Black Style: V3 Pro - Wireless Pattern Name: Mouse
I bought the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro because I wanted a solid wireless replacement for my wired Logitech G502 HERO, and I also wanted a mouse that fits nicely into my Razer setup (keyboard + mousepad). The RGB lighting was definitely a bonus. Out of the box, the mouse feels premium and well-built. Setup took just a few minutes and worked on the first try. I already had Razer Synapse installed, so pairing and configuring everything was pretty quick. What I like • Performance is excellent and extremely responsive • The buttons feel great—clicks are satisfying and consistent • The scroll wheel is awesome in both modes (smooth + tactile) • Tons of customization in Razer Synapse (RGB, button mappings, profiles, etc.) • Great fit for larger hands (size/shape is perfect for me) • The weight feels balanced—not too heavy, not too light What could be better • Battery life is decent, but I wish it was better (I average about 3 days of use) • Synapse customization isn’t very user-friendly at times—powerful, but not the smoothest experience • For the price, I really think Razer should include the charging dock (or at least bundle it more often) Who this is for • Anyone already invested in the Razer ecosystem • People who want a feature-packed wireless mouse with great design and performance • If you like RGB, it looks fantastic • Fans of the Logitech G502 shape—the dimensions/feel are very similar Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to gamers, especially if you’re already a Razer fan or coming from a G502-style mouse. ... show more

  • A superb mouse (comparison with Logitech G502 X)
Color: Classic Black Style: V3 Pro - Wireless Pattern Name: Mouse
Ok, I've compared this mouse with its closest rival, the Logitech G502 X. If you're trying to decide between the two, this review might be the most helpful to you. *Feel:* Both mice have a very comfortable feel. My hands are on the larger side so I've always preferred an ergonomic mouse instead of the "claw-grip" type mice. Both mice achieve this. The Razer is very comfortable to me. The Logitech mouse was initially uncomfortable, but it has an additional feature, which is that the clutch button can be popped off and reversed or even completely eliminated to make room for your thumb. Simply reversing that button made it very comfortable for me. I'd say these mice tie on comfort. *Glide:* Both mice glide smoothly on the trackpad. Perhaps the Logitech has a slight edge on smoothness, but really they're both good. *Buttons:* Both mice have excellent buttons. Again, if I was to say which I prefer as far as the quality of the click, perhaps it would be the Logitech again, but it's a negligible difference. I prefer the Logitech's clutch button, but both are really good. *Scroll Wheel* On this point, the Razer crushes it in my opinion. The Logitech scroll wheel is extremely heavy when in ratcheting mode. It's just so unsatisfying. Perhaps I got a bad one. But the Razer's ratcheting mode is very smooth and yet you can definitely still feel the clicking feeling. Both mice have a really good smooth-scroll mode, but the Logitech's is a little harder to activate and feels a little clunky in that regard. *Misc Features:* I like the customizability of RGB lighting for both mice. I'm not a huge fan of the snake logo on the Razer so I was able to turn that off. When my computer is locked it still lights up which is a bit annoying, but not a huge deal. The Razer also has a really cool effect when you wake it up. It makes a "click" as if someone is clicking the mouse. At first it freaked me out, but it's actually quite cool. *Battery:* The Logitech wins again on battery life, by quite a bit. Since I use my computer a lot for work, I plug the Razer in every evening. It's not really a big deal because I would probably plug it in every night anyways, and it has more than enough power for a full day. But if battery size is important to you, the Logitech definitely wins on that point. *Summary:* In the end, I returned the Logitech. The scroll wheel was driving me crazy. If it weren't for that it would have been the winner, but I really like this Razer mouse and I'm very happy with it. ... show more

  • After many different mice, basilisk wins
Color: Classic Black Style: V3 Pro - Wireless Pattern Name: Mouse
I was trying to find a mouse to replace my nearly 10 year old wired Logitech GPro, preferably something I could use for both work and gaming. I tried out the razer pro click v2, which is a very nice mouse but almost the same price as the basilisk (didn’t know that initially). It was a little big and didn’t have a ton of functionality. It was a very nice mouse though. I then tried the keychron m6 and m7. The materials were not up to par with the “mainstream” top end mice, and the m6 especially made my hand uncomfortable with extended use. I saw the basilisk and decided to give it a try before sticking with the pro click v2. Very glad I did! The basilisk feels better in pretty much every way and was the same price as the pro click v2 at the time of this review. Clicks feel good, it fits into my hand extremely well, and looks great. I was afraid it would look too “gamer-y”, but on the desk it looks good and not too flashy. ... show more

  • Amazing mouse but not ergonomic
Color: Classic Black Style: V3 Pro - Wireless Pattern Name: Mouse
Offers excellent performance for both gaming and productivity. The 30K DPI Focus Pro optical sensor is extremely precise and responsive allowing for smooth tracking whether you are playing fast paced games or doing detailed work. The HyperScroll tilt wheel is very versatile with tactile notches for accurate scrolling and a free spin mode for quickly navigating long documents or game menus. You can also assign custom functions to the tilt wheel which adds a lot of flexibility. This mouse is comfortable for long sessions thanks to its ergonomic right handed design and the programmable buttons let you tailor it to your playstyle. The wireless connectivity is reliable and the battery life lasts through extended use without frequent charging. While the premium features come at a higher price the mouse feels solid and durable and the RGB lighting adds a nice visual touch. Overall the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro is a highly customizable and responsive gaming mouse that I would definitely buy again. ... show more

  • Awesome gaming mouse for my son
Color: White Style: V3 Pro - Wireless Pattern Name: Mouse
Bought this Razer Basilisk V3 Pro for my son and he’s been loving it! The mouse feels super premium and the customizable controls make it perfect for gaming and even homework (he actually uses those extra buttons for shortcuts and macros). The scroll wheel is super smooth and the RGB lighting looks amazing. He loves tweaking the colors. Performance-wise it’s flawless. The tracking is accurate, there’s zero noticeable lag and it feels great in hand. He says it’s comfortable even after hours of Fortnite or Minecraft sessions. My only gripe and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the battery life. It’s decent but it doesn’t quite hit the mark promised especially if you’re using the RGB lights. We have to charge it more often than expected so keep that in mind if you’re a heavy gamer or forgetful about plugging things in. Overall, highly recommend this for any serious gamer especially if you want top-notch features and customization. Just be ready to keep that charging cable nearby! ... show more

  • Love this mouse!
Color: White Style: V3 Pro - Wireless Pattern Name: Mouse
I’ve had my mouse for about 5-6 months and have had little to no issues! I love its appearance and it works fairly well. Every once in awhile the mouse does a weird scroll thing, but it’s easy to fix. It turns red when it’s about to die! I love having a visual warning.

  • Best wireless mouse I ever owned.
Color: White Style: V3 Pro - Wireless Pattern Name: Mouse
This mouse design is extremely similar to another top popular brand I've used before, so it was easy to get used to, but once I actually used it, I realized how much better it is. It's very fast and responsive, charges fast, and has nice RGB lights. The grip on the sides are very tactile and the clicks are satisfying. The battery lasts a few days and I just charge it before bed so it's perfect. My FPS aim and 180° turns have improved dramatically and so has my general PC use, I rarely "misclick" with this mouse! The weight is perfect for me, some people think it's too heavy, but I have a heavy hand so it's great for me. Compared to my old brick wireless mouse that used a AA battery, this is super light. My ONLY complaint as that the mouse wheel clicks a bit too easily, and when scrolling in something like File Explorer, I tend to accidentally push too hard and open a new tab. The scroll wheel otherwise is amazing, and the left/right wheel buttons are very responsive and makes swapping tabs and scrolling quickly very easy. I don't use the auto hyper scroll feature because I'm worried about the mechanism wearing down so I stick to manual, but the manual press feels logical and not physical, meaning it seems to activate as a logical switch function and not as a depressed switch like my other old mouse (it's not a physical button lock). I'm completely sold on the new optical switches, and I'm never going back to my previous favorite brand after this. I saw some people calling Razer a "luxury brand" or a "sponsor brand", but that's definitely not the impression I got with this mouse. It's as awesome as it looks! The white color is beautiful and looks great glowing on top of my desk. ... show more

  • Horrible Razer Support.
Color: Classic Black Style: V3 Pro - Wireless Pattern Name: Mouse
Where to start: My new Razer Basilisk wireless/wired mouse when wireless fails to fully wake up after I take my PC out of locked screen saver mode. While the custom settings work it fails to connect the battery % in Synapse. I have to turn the mouse off then on for the connection to work. So I contacted support and they decided that it was a hardware issue and that I should send it back. I knew they were wrong but did what I was told and sent it back to Amazon and had my brand new one the next day. Of course it had the same problem even after uninstalling and reinstalling Synapse and doing every fix that was possible. But every time I would Receive a support email from Razer It would be from a different support technician who clearly didn't read what had transpired before him. They constantly wanted me to redo the same things over and over again. Finally they decided I should provide them with the log file from my mouse. I downloaded and ran the file for the log files and my security software lit up like this 4th of July is going to light up. I had 40 quarantine files that I had to fix and one file that required me to do a full repair on my Microsoft Office products for my Outlook to work. I complained to Razor that their log file program should have been designed correctly to play nice with security software and didn't even get a response from them. But I kept getting emails from people who hadn't read what happened before and they kept wanting me to rerun log file which I elected not to do. In closing their support actually sucks. It's disjointed, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and it's clearly their problem which seems to be well documented in the literature that the wake up handshake is broken yet they continued to want me to jump through hoops. I refuse to deactivate my security software for their BS. They need to fix Synapse in order to fix this issue because it has nothing to do with me or my system. And they need to fix their bad customer service. ... show more
