I needed a laptop sleeve for my 14 inch laptop so I saw this one which also has wireless charging, so I wanted to try that out also. The quality is amazing the outside of it is made of really durable polyester weave like what some backpacks are made out of, and it has a stiffness to it instead of being fully soft which i really like because it will protect the laptop a lot better and it has a magnetic flap to keep it closed till you open it again while also having reinforced edges which probably can take some drops or dings, But sorry I am not doing that test with my laptop inside it hehe. The interior has a gray color which is also nicely padded which will keep the laptop from getting scratched and as you can see it fits my 14 inch laptop in it really good with even more room to spare for up to 16 inch laptops, another thing I like I thought my laptop would slide around in it but it doesn't which the padding prevents it from doing that and keeps a snug fit around it. And this sleeve has function to it which is the magnet wireless charging that can charge 2 devices at the same time as long as it is plugged into the laptop with the included USB Type C cable, and as you can see it does work very well charging my phone and even my earbuds reasonably fast with hardly any heat while also being a desk pad for the laptop, so this is a pretty neat and well done accessory for laptops. I have 0 cons to say about this laptop sleeve, sure it can look expensive because it is but it is a high quality sleeve and really thin with hardly any bulk to it which can also charge up your wireless charging devices, and I much prefer it get power from the laptop instead of having a battery built in the sleeve which is more simple and one less battery not having to worry about. This Razer Laptop Sleeve is an interesting idea that mixes laptop protection with a built-in wireless charging function. It’s a premium-looking sleeve with some thoughtful features, but there are also a few things that keep it from being as amazing as it could be in my opinion. From a build quality standpoint, it feels very nice. The durable polyester weave exterior feels rugged and well made, and the padded interior with reinforced edges offers a degree of protection for your laptop. It'll probably do fine even with the occasional drop. The inside padding feels thick enough to cushion the device. While it’s advertised for 16-inch laptops, that doesn’t necessarily mean it will fit every 16-inch gaming laptop. It fits my Razer 16" laptop but not my Lenovo 16" laptop. Some gaming machines are thicker or have larger footprints, so you’ll want to double-check the dimensions before buying. It should work well for slimmer laptops, but bulkier gaming systems might be a tight squeeze or not fit at all. The standout feature is the wireless charging capability built into the sleeve. It supports charging for two devices and is MagSafe compatible, which is nice because a MagSafe phone will snap into place and stay there without sliding around or getting knocked off easily. It works as a double function as a magnetic clasp to keep it closed. The thing that prevents this from being a lot more amazing is that the sleeve itself doesn’t have a battery. Considering the price, it would have been great if Razer had included one. Instead, the sleeve must be plugged in via USB-C for the wireless charging to work, either from your laptop or another power source. That limits the portability of the feature somewhat. When going portable, I generally do not want my laptop charging something else. Then I would have to bring a charger for longer sessions and now we're talking about bringing multiple peripherals at this point. Another small design miss is the lack of a handle. A simple carry handle on the top would have made it much easier to move around with just the sleeve. Without one, it feels a bit awkward if you’re trying to carry your laptop by itself instead of placing it in a backpack. But then if you're going to bring a backpack, the sleeve’s purpose becomes a little confusing. If you’re already putting your laptop into a bag, the extra charging feature may not get much use, and the sleeve mostly acts as another layer of protection. Also, while it does include a USB-C cable, there’s no dedicated storage pocket, so you end up just placing the cable inside with the laptop. The overall use case is a bit confusing to me. For a fully portable purpose where you want to just take your laptop around, it could be better with a carry handle. It's a bit heavy and bulky to add it to your backpack. I feel like this is one of those niche scenarios where you're using your laptop for a short amount of time and need a way to charge your phone at the same time if it's low. Overall, the sleeve feels well built and protective, and while the MagSafe wireless charging idea is clever, I'm confused by the overall intended use. If you specifically want a rugged laptop sleeve with an integrated wireless charging surface, this is probably the only quality integrated option out there. The review title pretty much sums up most Razer products, including this 16” laptop sleeve with wireless charging. It’s a laptop sleeve that could fit up to a 16” (thin like Razer) laptops or tablets. It is made of durable polyester fabric blend. There is even a tiny Razer green stitching to broadcast the brand. The wireless charging, 1 for your phone and 1 for your wireless earbuds, lay flat to the side once you unfold it and take out the laptop and use the sleeve as a computer pad which it works fine. The irony here is that you don’t really need a computer/keyboard pad. A mouse pad would have been more appropriate except the sleeve is too big for that although in a pinch, you could do it. Turning it upside down anyway so it swings out to the right if you are right handed. This item is packaged in a full retail Razer branded thus black and green themed display pack with the customary and usual loop band atop the box. The box opening experience is top notch as a premium computer accessory product. The box is almost too nice to put away. The wireless charge pad works great with MagSafe compatible devices, even ones not but has a cover works great. You can also put your own ferrous rings on although it does take some precision and they tend to not stick well and fall off. The sleeve/pad works great in this regard once you provide it with adequate USB-C power source. It does come with a short cable with the intention of connecting the charging pad connector to the laptop theoretically next to it. Instead, I just use my long cable to connect to a power brick further away. Either way, you have options. Razer has a fine working product here once again. If your budget permits, you can’t go wrong with anything from this premier brand for accessories. Five stars all the way! ... show more
