The sound quality is excellent even with my Xbox with the AUX cord plug in. Down side is that it does not work with Xbox directly, have to use AUX cord to the controller. But I love the easy UI with the receiver. The dial works great, love the RBG on the headset and the OLED screen is nice and clear. I also really like the retractable microphone for using the headset for music or movies when I am not gaming. The haptics give the headphone a subwoofer feel when there is enough base. The comfort level I would rate 9/10 they are a bit heavy but they are at least comfortable for an over the ear headset. I would say it was worth the money. When I am using the headset for work, it has great range, I can use the simultaneous audio and listen to my phone music anywhere in the office building floor. I also am impressed with the battery life, most wireless equipment I have own dies after a few hours. With the haptics on medium, RBG at 50%-100% brightness, it last me about 15 hours of continuous use before dying on me and charging was super fast less than an hour to get back to above 50% battery life.     • Warning - Currently Requires Additional Software Purchase for THX Spatial Audio to Work
The headset looks great, feels comfy, and sounds ok. But for $400 this should be a premium headset that works perfectly and does not require additional software purchases to make it work. Currently Razer Synapse is bugged and THX Spatial Audio does not work properly with the headset so in many instances the sound is very poor. I tried playing call of duty black ops 6 with THX spatial audio and it sounded absolutely awful. It was obviously bugged. I had to purchase the stand-alone THX Spatial Audio app for $20 to get it to work, then it sounded fine. Point being though, you should not charge $400 (which is already overpriced for what you get) for a headset and then expect the customer to pay an additional $20 to utilize all features. A razer support tech told me that I can use THX via Synapse but it is not currently working and appears to be a known bug, so the stand-alone app is your only option. Also one other really annoying bug I noticed in synapse (which there may be a fix for but I sent the headset back before I investigated this issue further) was my mic volume kept turning down to 0 every time I started my pc and had to manually raise it every time. I like a lot of razer gear but this headset is a big kick in the face to consumers in my opinion. ... show more

    • Usb controller resources
This is a great headset, and my criticism is more about its compatibility within Razer’s ecosystem than the product itself. I’ll keep it short. I have a fairly large Razer setup: a Razer Blade 16 with five peripherals that use Chroma (which aren’t particularly relevant here), plus the Thunderbolt 4 Dock Chroma and other devices that thankfully don’t have Chroma. Why “thankfully”? Because this headset seems to use (just a guess) three separate communication buses, which ends up triggering a pop-up that says: “Not enough USB controller resources.” This forces me to choose between chat or game audio, meaning I can’t fully use one of the headset’s main features: adjusting independent audio channels on the fly during matches. To be clear, it’s not like I’m maxing out the Thunderbolt 4 Dock — I still have three or four unused ports. So, is this my fault? Maybe. But I wouldn’t be so sure. Razer provides no information or warnings about USB controller limitations, or how their products might overload them. ... show more

    • Great headset with two flaws
I love it. I got an ear infection shortly after getting them (unrelated yet interesting). The bass are uncomfortable so I got better ones from Wicked Cushions and it’s definitely more comfortable. I think the mic sounds good and I love how the speakers sound. I have never ran the battery down even though I play more then 5 hours a day and only charge after I’m done. Only other thing I dislike is the fact I can’t keep the screen always on. It’d make sense if it was battery powered but it’s not, it need to be always plugged into a pc. So why can’t I have it always on? Like seriously why? Other than that, I love it. Only the second headset I’ve ever had but I love it. ... show more
