This has been our saving grace through flu/cold/croup/strep and who knows what else we have caught this summer. It makes a world of difference for our night time coughing and sure helps the sore throats heal so much faster. It’s even done my dry eyes and asthma wonders! A high output humidifier that doesn’t soak everything around it and doesn’t have tricky nooks and crannies to clean?! Look no further. This little fella can make it look like it’s foggy in my 1400sq foot home if left on all day. I’d say that’s some amazing output. The tank lasts all night long. It doesn’t make a lot of bubbling sounds as the water level goes down. I do place a towel underneath it if used above low-medium. It works best when placed on a surface around waist level or high for the mist to distribute evenly. For example of how great this humidifies, I live in a basement in Utah so VERY dry. My lips and hands have been suffering. I put vaseline on my lips before bed and woke up with my lips moist with a nice coat of vaseline still protecting me even after 7+ hours of sleep! Tip: Use filtered water if you have access. Otherwise mineral deposits will develop, which is natural but a pain. Pros: long life (we’ve used it for probably a few weeks worth of hours at least so far), very quiet, easy to clean, long cord, simple knob, actual output (no just some water with a fan like some other awful humidifiers I’ve tried in the past), does not make the room freezing cold, very good output, drastically increases humidity, adjustable, fair price Con: can leave wetness around it from the output but NOT from the unit leaking. I remedy this by not using it above medium if it’s cool in the room so that the mist isn’t like a waterfall. No backlit display, but there is a light that clicks on that is a tiny power light. The light might be annoying to some. It doesn’t light up the room by any means but you could always put a piece of tape over it if that bugs you. I would like to see a ring of light or some other definable way to see where the knob is turned to in a low lit room.

This is definitely on the cheaper side of humidifiers. It works great overnight, but I would say it does run out on max at around 8-10 hrs. And the water needs to be PURIFIED. I tried filtered water, and it ended up hurting my throat. Make sure your water is purified or it will cause calcium build up as well. It's not that easy to clean, but if it's for a baby for night time, as long as you have purified water, it would work great. It's extremely quiet and has a very gentle mist. It is pretty small so it would probably need to be within a certain range to actually feel "humid."

This small humidifier (0.45 gallon) is described as a "humidifier for bedroom," as well as "quiet, space-saving, and filterless with auto shut off." It's also described as being "for babies." Suffice to say, I am far from being a baby, but I am an adult who finds the drier air that accompanies cold weather as being very uncomfortable. So, I am very appreciative of its silent action, simple maintenance, and long-lasting effectiveness. Upon first receiving it, I ran it full blast because I was so desperate for some humidity in my air. And I loved seeing the billowing stream of cool mist emitting from the exit valve! It's simply beautiful! Now, running it at its lowest setting after filling the tank keeps the bedroom infused with its cool mist for well over 15 hours. Additionally, I make sure to use only distilled (not tap or "purified") water in the tank. As last year, come warmer weather, I will be sure to follow the manufacturer's suggestion to descale the tank and make sure it's dry before packing it away for another summer. This is a wonderful product which I highly recommend.

i got tired of buying those humidifiers with the little round white cottonish filter inside. i 've been buying those pieces of crap for tons of years to travel with.. and whenever i get where i'm going, those things that took up space in my luggage do not work.. i had just bought a very popular one & it was brand new.. never used (cost about $45).. when i got to the other country it didn't work. There's either something wrong with that hole the mist comes out of getting clogged, The Battery won't charge, or issues with those filters. But even when they do start out working, they konk out quickly... i could not send it back, because i kept it in my travel bag for a while before i traveled and needed to use it. It got tossed it in the garbage in the Dominican Republic (Grrrrrrrrrr). So i went on a hunt for a humidifier, that is small, and has a cord (so i would not have the problem of the battery not working or it needing to be recharged before you can use it ). i found this one, and it has very good reviews.. it is NOT charged by USB, it has a chord (check), & DOES NOT NEED A FILTER (Check, Check, CHECK.!!!). so i took the chance. Out the box, it is significantly bigger then i expected.. but not as big as my other that i keep in the house, and also has a cord and is fiilterless. It will take up more space, but can still fit in a travel bag. So the size is not a deal breaker. i put spring water in it.. plugged it in.. and a great BIG MIST came flowing out immediately.. No wait, while you pray it will work (like those other pieces of crap with the filters). There's a dial where you can adjust the amount of the mist.. & its wonderfully easy to clean. The water does not get depleted quickly (so you can go to sleep and wake up and still find it working).. it's really one of those "where have you been all my life" purchases.

This is the best humidifier I have ever had. It's relatively inexpensive, but it sends out a mist that competes with larger models. It's noiseless and easy to move from room to room. I have one in my bedroom and am now buying a second to leave in the livingroom. I recommend using filtered water to avoid mineral buildup.
