I've been using this along with a allergen carpet cleaner in my bedroom to fight dust mites and my coughing has calmed down. Instead of buying this with the stand, I bought a clear backpack to keep it in which helps in carrying this up and down the stairs for cleaning on each floor. this thing, rocks! I live in an apartment, and I am unavailable to hang my Shiki bouton indirect sunlight. The UV in heat functions put my mind at ease. Also, after just one use, it gathered a lot of dust. The suction power is off the charts!

I couldn’t wait to open the box and vacuum my bed and topper. I haven’t been sleeping because of dust mite allergies. I’d wake up gasping for air after only a few hours. I plugged this puppy in and vacuumed every surface. I even hit the dust mite covers. It was so easy to use. I think I was smiling the entire time as I imagined those little suckers dying. That night, I slept for 8 hours! I didn’t have to get up and take a few hits of my inhaler. I slept straight through the night! I’m going to use this on my curtains and my sofa. I bought this because I thought it would be great to get up cat hair from the bed and it is, but all of the other dust that it collects grosses me out because that's dust mites, dead skin and dander, etc. I've been using for a few months now. I use it every night on the sheet that is on the mattress, the pillows and bed covers. I'm always surprised at what is collected on a daily basis. I also do the bare mattress and pillows every time I change the sheets. I was curious and used it on newly washed sheets and comforter that I had just put on the bed and there was nothing in the filter cup, but the next night after sleeping one night on the sheets, it collected a lot of dust and crap.
