Took my husband and I about 5 hours to assemble all the pieces of this set. I'm very impressed with the set. I've only had it for about a month and a half, but it seems very sturdy. I'll update my review if that changes. Pros: Looks great and seems sturdy. The fire table is very nice and having the metal plate for over it makes the table useable as a table, not just a decorative touch. The company was quick to ship and when they realized (before I realized) that they'd sent me the wrong color cushion covers, they shipped the correct set to me without needing to be contacted. Customer service seems spot on! Cons: material of the cushions is weatherproof, so it makes them slippery. The back cushions tend to slide around when being used. This is the reason for the reduction in stars for comfort. I added a couple of throw pillows to help this situation. Overall, I would recommend this set and I would purchase it again. ... show more

Typical furniture assembly. Not hard but not easy, just time consuming. 1 person can assemble alone. Sofa took my 52 year old female self about an hour and a half, but after the big piece the others went fairly quickly. To keep the shipping affordable, they flat pack everything. Since they sell multiple modular sets, you do get boxes of common parts to pull from rather than everything being entirely in its own box. Each box has a very clear packing slip inside that you can check off. The instructions are clear and easy to understand, though sometimes very difficult to execute. I suggest having a gathering of able bodied people in the morning for an assembly party, then treat them to a mid afternoon lunch on your new furniture! Take the cushions out of the packaging a few days beforehand so they are nice and plump, and make sure they are the proper orientation before you fold them to put them into the covers. This set much more comfortable and durable than sets I've had in the past. The cushions and rattan are nice and thick! Customer service helped me promptly with a missing part, and were even patient and polite with my stupid question. I would totally order from this company again despite the difficult assembly. ... show more

This turned out beautifully! A little bit of a pain to put together and it was missing a few bolts but luckily we had them on hand in the garage! Was hoping to have a little more cushion as they are not the top of the line.. but overall for the price it it is really nice looking!

I absolutely love this set. It did take a while to setup but I heard very minimal grumbling from my husband so it didn't seem like it was hard. It is very comfortable and we love the option to have a fire or place the lid on and use it more like a table when needed. The protective covers that came with were an added bonus.
