Bought it to water a big moss pole. Was concerned it wouldn't be able to pump up a 6ft vertical but it works fine. Tubing setup was a tad confusing and requires planning but it was alright. Pump is loud but it only needs to run a few mins at a time occasionally. Also my setup barely has any joints but one of them with the thin tubing right before the dripper is leaking. I don't don't know if it's something I did (tube seemed attached all the way and snug). It's only a few inches from the dripper so I don't mind the leak since it waters the same area. None of the main tubing is leaking. The controller is very easy to understand and use.

I just bought it, it's a great product. I love my plants and this makes my life so much easier because sometimes I forget to water them due to my job. It has several watering schedules, it's easy to install since it comes with instructions and everything you need to connect it and keep your plants at the optimal humidity level so they don't get flooded or lack water, which used to happen to me when I watered them manually...

We have multiple RainPoint timers and have had a great experience with all of them so far. This indoor watering kit is pretty good all around. We are using it to keep tree seedlings in multiple 1020 grow trays alive through the winter in our garage with the help of grow lights. We bottom water the plants by filling the 1020 tray and allowing the seedlings to soak up the water through the roots, but it was a real chore to get the water into each tray and the quantities would fluctuate wildly. Unfortunately we lost a tray of 15 trees due to them not getting watered properly. We hooked our system up so it pulls water from a 5 gallon bucket and now we just make sure we fill the bucket every once in a while...so much simpler. This automatic watering system has been working great to take care of watering duties and it is so nice to know that each tray is getting the same amount of water when the system runs. I especially like RainPoint's cycle and soak feature that lets you choose a total watering time and then enable it to water for 1 or 2 minutes followed by soaking for 5 or 10 minutes. Some of the challenges we had with the system: This uses 2 different types of tubing, 1/6" main lines and 1/8" drip lines. This means you need to really plan out how you will run the system ahead of time so you make the best use of each type of tubing. This is especially important since neither tubing sizes are standard (normally 1/4") and will not likely be available locally. If you have plants with different watering needs that is another consideration because this system will push the same amount to each drip tube...that might mean you put multiple tubes into thirsty plants and single tubes to the others. You may want to heat the tubing ends for a very short burst before connecting them to the other fittings, otherwise the small parts can be fragile and break off. You get 10 drip emitters so I don't know where they came up with the theory of watering 20 potted plants. Not a negative, but be aware that you need to run the system with the drip emitters because the pump won't generate enough pressure if you just use open tubing or even just the T fittings...this would cause different amounts of water to go into each plant (some drowning and some dry). Using the drip emitters balances out the flow. Overall, we are really happy with this watering system. I really like the battery powered functionality because our garage is severely lacking outlets plus it allows you to be as flexible with placement as possible.

I bought this because I was going on vacation. Installation took a little time, but it wasn't difficult. It runs very quietly. You can set a timer to water the plants at multiple intervals. I tried the automatic watering function for two days, and it worked very well. I know my plants will get plenty of water.
