I purchased for my bathroom window. It's easy to apply when you follow directions. It adheres to the window good and can withholding steamy showers without problems. It comes with everything needed: a small spray bottle, utility knife, and smoothing tool (if you're doing a big job you will need a bigger spray bottle). This is a very pretty pattern and when the sun hits the film the colors that display are so pretty. It's like looking at a color prism. I wish I had a big privacy window that I could use this on and just stare at. This film is truly captivating. **Update and helpful hints** I'm noticing that many purchasers are experiencing hardship getting the back to peel off. If you put a piece of tape on both sides of the film and pull them apart as it states in the instructions, it will pull apart easy. Also, using water with a couple drops of dish detergent (I used Dawn) does make the film adhere to the window. Shake the mixture gently so as not to make it sudsy. Apply spray over entire area of window to be covered. It's best to cut film with a bit of an overlap to the window size and then do the trimming with the razor tool while using the red edging tool to cut along where the window meets the frame. Smoothing is best if going from the middle out to the edges. The film will slide if you don't hold it firm to the window while trimming. It is going on two months since applying the film and it is still clinging to the window perfectly. It has been exposed to a steamy conditions from showering, hot temperatures in the 90s and direct sunlight. The only thing I cannot speak on at this time is coldness from winter weather. The privacy is great from the outside looking in. I have even turned the light on at night and went outside to look in to see if I could see in, and it provided a hazy distorted type of privacy where you cannot make out details of objects inside. I get many compliments from visitors on this film. Come winter, I will update again on how it holds up to a cold window.

I really love the frosted glass look of this film. There is a new, tall building next to me and I felt like I was on stage in my own kitchen. Now, my privacy is restored. I was worried that it would take too much of the light, but it's not bad. Of course, it is not as bright as it was before. The surprise for me was how cozy it makes the room feel! It's a great, easy to install, inexpensive solution to a common problem---privacy.

It was easy to install as long as you follow the steps. The squeegee they provide is plastic so just be careful youre not going over any creased areas or you could rip it. I use this for my shower window and it works great. Still allows light through byt you cant see out. Looks good and there was enough material for the whole window. It has not peeled even with the 80+ morning temps and cool nights. Very high quality and the material did not feel flimsy while putting up.

Can’t believe they got the spray bottle, squeegee and box cutter in the roll of film. But it was all there. The instructions were thorough and as long as you followed them the film works great. It’s static cling so there’s a little lift towards the very edges but nothing noticeable. Perfect amount of frosted look. Used for the bathroom window. Very easy to install.

I have a large, floor to ceiling picture window facing the narrow street and most people who walk or drive by seem to like to look in that window. If I am in the room some people even wave because they can see in so clearly. Well, I like my curtains open and I'm tired of waving at passers-by. So I purchased four different window films to see which would solve the problem. I applied the films on the bottom 40% of the window while leaving the top 60% bare. This hampers the view of people on the outside while still giving me a view of trees and sky. This film wins 4 counts - 1. Grid lines for measuring and cutting straight lines. Such a simple thing but the other films I bought did not and it was so much harder to avoid crooked cuts with those films. Tip: use the tape trick to easily separate the film from the backing - put sticky tape on the backing side of a corner edge and hold the tape while picking at a corner of the film. Does not take much to pull them apart. 2. Tools to apply the film are included. Including a tiny spray bottle for the water/soap solution, a razor cutter, and mini squeegee. 3. The opacity level is optimal for my use. 4. Seems to be re-useable. I took it off one window and applied it to another just to see if I liked it there too. It went on a second time just fine, and then a 3rd time when I put it back on the big window. Key, I think is keeping all the surfaces wet with the soap/water solution and being very careful not to bend any corner of the film. Of the other films that did not make the cut, two were too see-through, and the third was very opaque, so much so that when the sun shone in through the window, the light was blinding white, so much so that took it down immediately. All that to say - I like this brand of frosted window film so much that I just bought 2 more rolls of it.
