This is a great light! I installed it in our storage shed. It's nice that it comes on instantly when I open the shed door. It has plenty of light for an 11'x7.5' storage shed and would probably be fine in a much larger space. It has a few different modes, depending on how and when you want it to come on, and also has a remote control. I have it set where a little green light glows until the light is activated. A great light for the money!

However, it is very easy to install, requires no wiring, and the remote control is very convenient to use. It works well for backyard use. I recently decided to brighten up my backyard shed without having to run messy wiring, so I gave the Solar Shed Light a try, and it’s been a game-changer. Installation was surprisingly simple; I simply mounted the solar panel outside, where it could soak up the sun, and ran the 16-foot cable to the light inside. What I love most is the flexibility. The four adjustable heads can be angled exactly where I need coverage, and the five lighting modes let me tailor it to different situations. For example, I set it on motion mode at night, which keeps the entrance safe while conserving power. I installed today and it seems fairly well made. It's not quite as bright as I was expecting. It's in a 12x6 shed and it's enough light to see and move around but not enough that you could comfortably read a book. It serves my purpose which is to not impale myself on a tool in the darkness. The solar panel is attached to the bracket via 2 thumb screws. Warning: there is a nut on the backside that is not attached. If you remove the thumbscrews from the mount bracket, the 2 nuts will fall off and disappear into the grass never to be seen again. I plugged the panel into the light and even in indirect light on a cloudy day the charging led on the light came on. The biggest questions with these solar lights is the longevity of the solar panel. That is always the part that fails as it bakes in the sun and rain all day long. The cord is plenty long 10' or so) but it has a screw on cap to waterproof the connection. This means that if you are drilling a hole to run the cable from the outside, you are going to need a pretty big hole just so the cap passes through.. probably a 1/2* at least.

First off, the brightness is outstanding. With 1200 lumens and 174 LEDs, it easily lights up my entire shed and even works great for my patio at night. The 4+1 adjustable heads are a huge plus, allowing me to direct light exactly where I need it, eliminating dark corners completely. The motion sensor works reliably and detects movement quickly, which is perfect for security and convenience. I also love the 5 lighting modes—it’s easy to switch between modes depending on whether I need constant light or motion-activated lighting.
