Worked great for the price. I used it with a Uniden R4 and fit perfectly. I wish it had a little more adjustment for the angles to fit my windshield's angle. Overall a real Gem when considering the price. Works sooo much better than the mount that came with my R4.

#1 Read the Review, take away: that for the money this mount works great. I recommend buying it; I kept it and use it everyday. ‘Revised addition’. I am not going to delete what I originally wrote, I am adding more feedback for clarity. My original review was harsh, but accurate. For consumers that are not anal and picky; let me clarify the real functionality and overall quality of this mount. In my wife’s GT and my incredibly built Subaru, I short wired and mounted at the rear view mirror. With this set up, I have had zero issues with the mount, it has never fallen off nor turned like I explained below. Why is this relevant. Short wiring to a rear view mirror pinout eliminates the inertia and torque a long whip cord can produce, and mounting at the mirror allows for a positive pressure from the mirror onto the detector. This has essentially lock it into place, with a clean look as well. I was offered a refund due to my original review; now realizing it was harsh. As I declined the offer and kept the mount, I would recommend the same. Buy the mount, do a short wire Pinout, mount in front of the mirror, and never have any issues……”Original” First off, this does work as advertised; mind you this is a sub $30.00 part. If you are looking for a offroad holder, this is not it. I would like to call this the Highway Radar Mount. This review is a critique from someone that is very critical, detailed and objective. This holds and is steady enough not to bounce around "Trick, snug it up to the mirror" no more bouncing. This is a replica of the R8's stock "Sticky" mount. That is the bees' Knees for the money. I had both R8 on a Sticky and R4 on this product; both look the same but there are minuet differences. This mount has allowed more twisting "flat plain" left and right than i like. As other reviews, I had to grind down the mount to make the insert plate fit properly. If you like precise, sharp, and the best, you will have to go pay more than this one. If you want simple, functional, easy to use regular use, this is the best one i have came across.

This is a nice little-framed suction cup that holds my Uniden radar detector perfectly. Easy to install and took less than 2 minutes. I've only used now for about a month but it seems sturdy. We'll see as time goes by. For now, I recommend.

As advertised. Expect the suction cup to eventually get damaged from the summer sun. But in years not months. Cheap enough to keep a spare on the shelf.

Wanted a “good for the money” mount for my Uniden R3 detector and after reading a ton of reviews on this one I decided to proceed with the purchase. Everything looked straight when I received it but then I tried to switch out the mounting plate or whatever you’d call that piece that clicks into the detector with the shorter option one that comes in the kit. Then one of the two small screws just would not budge. I tried with my own precision screwdriver and still it just barely loosened up. The screw ended up stripping because of how stupid tight it’s stuck in there. It’s like they used some high temp loctite or hired superman to assemble it. So I realized I wasn’t winning that battle and unfortunately I’d just have to roll with the longer plate which came on it out of the box and put the other screw back in. Now it’s lopsided, like the detector sits off center because of that one screw not wanting to come out or go back in all the way. It actually kinda pissed me off because I spend a lot of money on amazon and this kind of issue with any product on here is really irritating. I know I won’t get my money back for the purchase which is also a little frustrating but whatever. I ended purchasing a different one for the same price that’s 100% better in quality and functionality. Sorry for the rant but yeah, not the best experience.

Love the fact that they hold on the windshield without falling after hitting road bumps. Move between 2 vehicles routinely. Has unbelievable sticking ability and easy to adjust.

It sticks to the window and stays but the elbow joint is week and causes the radar to want to go down 👇 on the front side that you look at.
