We purchased this product to keep our butter on the counter for easy spreading. I use sticks to use in my morning coffee and keeping them in this butter dish with lid has made mornings much easier. Wash the dish before adding new butter and it washes out easy. It is nice looking so keeping it on the counter has been fine. The only thing I can't speak of is the small knife it comes with as I haven't used it, I just use a plastic knife. If you are in the market for a nice, easy to clean, butter dish this might be the right one. I would purchase again.

My teenage girls absolutely adore the little butter knife that came with this dish! It's very sturdy and will hold up to the whole family using the "knife". I love that it's a ceramic dish. Makes cleaning easy. Fits 2 skinny sticks of butter with no problems. As the lid is wood, the lid isn't really dishwasher friendly and I do wish there was a ledge on the inside so I can wipe the knife and not get butter on the silicone gasket the lid had to keep the butter dosh closed. All in all, would buy again!

Decent little butter dish I enjoy the indent for the butter knife so it isn't stuck in a drawer someone hidden and its a dedicated one so everyone doesn't use all of the butter knifes making it so there is none left.
