I’ve gone to two raclette parties now, and decided at the last one to get my own raclette. I thought it would be a great way to entertain, but I’ve already used it twice just for myself…and loved every bit of it!! I cooked chicken and fish, along with multiple veggie types, and did enough each time to have multiple meals. I also used the griddle for pancakes a few times for grandkids, and it worked great. The heat gauge is accurate with its settings, and the size of the grill/griddle makes plenty of room for more than one person to enjoy the process. It doesn’t weigh so much that I don’t want to get it out. It cleans up easily. It’s a creative medium for easy conversation and good food. I love it! Learned Raclette from our German friends. So bought this for ourselves. Top grill is versatile. Pans each have a different colored dot to differentiate when cooking. Nice size.

The media could not be loaded. This was fun ot demonstrate - I did not have the correct cheese - so I experimented with 3 different cheeses -Mozzarella - came out hard and gluey -white sharp cheddar - very hard and chewy -yellow sharp cheddar - hard and chewy So I do recommend either using the correct cheese * If you can't find cheese specifically made for raclette, use any really good melting Swiss cheese, such as Gruyere or even Appenzeller* I will probably make more of a cheese sauce base and heat that like a fondue the next time. I would prefer 2 buttons on either side to be able to have a adjust the temperature according to the food that is cooking. Super easy to clean - the top tray has both a flat griddle side and a ridged side - which marked the baby marrow beautifully. I like that there a lip all the way around to keep the juices in. Be very careful with the hot trays - they are very very easy to bump out - they did not sit too well in the holders I am afraid. This product has gone down $20 since I ordered it .......... The wooden paddles dont really seem very good quality. ... show more

Did not work after about thirty minutes my electricity cut off completely didn’t turn on after restarting my electricity item does not work short cut your electricity please refund me the item did not work after thirty minutes of trying to turn on

This is a really fun way to make dinner! My grandkids are 11 and 9. They can cook their own food with supervision of course. It gets hot! But we all love it. Worst part is cutting up all the meat and veggies before we start. But worth it!
