I needed this window covering for privacy & this works perfectly! It let's light in and keeps the out the nosey neighbors walking by my apartment window. Very easy to install with no mess since all you need is water. I highly recommend that you purchase the installation kit. The plastic squeegee to flatten out the water bubbles is the perfect tool for the job. I'm a perfectionist, so this was the longest part of the process to get all of the water bubbles out. Otherwise, it's so simple to install and looks great! Now I can open my window blinds and enjoy the daylight.

Very satisfied! •Apllication: The application process wasn't what i was expecting, but in my opinion was very easy and much better than anything that uses some sort of sticky adhesive, so now, when i move out of my apartment, there won't be any residue left! •Visuals: This is a great edition to my apartment windows, giving me extra privacy while still letting in tons of natural light! (Most important for a plant lover such as myself) It also casts rainbows across the room which are very nice to look at, especially when the sun hits just right! (Also great for photo ops!) •Packaging: The film came rolled up like a poster would, which kept it wrinkle free and clean. It was also very easy to get to and the instructions were also easy to find! •Cost: Considering how expensive things are these days, I feel that what I paid for the size of the roll was well worth it. The size was as advertised too! It was easily able to cover an entire top and bottom window (seen in photos) with a little extra to spare. I will actually be purchasing another roll to do my other window! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cheap and easy, yet very effective privacy window! Or to anyone just looking to add some flair!

Great quality material. I purchased this for an outdoor space heater that lost its paint coating. This product was easy to use and made a visual difference. It is not applied with adhesive, so you can remove, wash and replace easily too. Clings flush to the glass. This would be perfect for adding privacy to a window.

After putting a similar product on our windowed side door, I knew I had to put this stuff on the bottoms of our windows! We have a one-story home. I wanted some additional privacy without, but I also don't want to block out the light. I've had this up for almost a year now, and it hasn't budged. Here are my tips: 1. Make sure to thoroughly clean the surface first. I used rubbing alcohol and let it dry. 2. Cut using a straight edge and a single blade. This is easier and gives you a more exact cut than scissors. If the piece is a hair too big, you can trim it down. Make sure it isn't too big. If the piece extends before the glass, it won't get a firm "seal" with the glass and may peel off. 3.Drench the glass with a spray bottle first, then use a plastic spackling knife or something like a credit card to press it down and remove any air bubbles. This will also remove all of the excess water. That's it! It looks beautiful when the light shines through it and is totally gorgeous at night, too. Highly recommend!

My front door has a sidelight that was covered with a curtain; I hated it. Found this glass film and thought I'd give it a try to update the look. I liked that it offered privacy and UV protection (FL sun can be brutal). The film is easy to cut and apply, took ten minutes, tops. The look was a combination of clear and frosted glass. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to see if someone was at the door, but it's transparent enough that I had some visabity. I was happy with the look. Then the sun came around to the front of the house. What a surprise! The window came alive with jewel like colors. My entire foyer became a rainbow. Pictures could not capture the beauty. This was the easiest, unexpensive, bang for the buck improvement I've ever done. I have a room with six skylights (FL sun) I'm considering trying this on them as well.

This was so easy to apply! Super cute, tons of privacy and when the sunlight hits just right, you get a rainbow in your room! Renter friendly. I would just recommend you measure your window before choosing what size to buy.

Once I got it on it was beautiful! Here’s the thing… it’s not really that easy to cut. Maybe if you have a large craft board and a set of sharp exacting knives it’s not but I don’t have those and I bet a lot of people don’t. My guess is most people will cut this with standard household scissors. My scissors are pretty sharp THAT IS KEY! Whatever you cut with has to be sharp! The directions that come with it are really good as far as how to apply it to the window. The process is fairly simple it takes patience more than anything. You have to make sure it’s cut to the correct size -as already established the plastic backing is tough so cutting is difficult- as many have said measure twice! Once it’s cut peel the backing off, spray water on the window and apply the smooth side onto the window. Smooth it and push the bubbles out. Kind of move it around to make it fit the window just right. I gave it four stars only because I would rather be able to purchase it in sizes that I need/want rather than by the roll. Final word, once it’s on the window it does what it advertises. It obscures anyone from looking in if you are overlooked from the street or another house. When the sun shines on it directly it prisms but even indirect sunlight is very pretty!
