In winter, the sun shines through my window beautifully thanks to this film, it even doubles as a privacy film, or the other way around. I love seeing how the rainbow reflects off my cats' fur, and glass ornaments, I have it on the bottom half of my window so that I can still see out if I want to, I live in an apartment so I like to see who's coming or going. Application was pretty easy, I did notice recently that there's an air wrinkle towards the top so it might need reapplication soon but it's held up for about 2 years now, so pretty reliable. These window stickers are the best choice I ever made for my windows . It offers a perfect amount of privacy with BEAUTIFUL decor for any room. When the sun shines on it it makes such beautiful colors on the windows and in the room even better than the ones I got on photos. I got the smallest roll (1st choice) but I got 3 of them and I was able to cover one entire window top and bottom , 3 of them with just the bottom , my 2 medium sized kitchen windows (just the bottom) and then the top and bottom of my small bathroom. And still had a few pieces left. It was so so easy to apply. all you need to do is wash the windows with windex, wet the window with soap as well as the sticker ALOT and place it on . you will still be able to move around and adjust. all you need is a credit card wrapped in a rag to get the air bubbles out. i had no issues with lifting or anything. they have stuck and make my home so beautiful for such a good price. We got this to help our pets not be alarmed or overstimulated by things outside our screen door, so I had low expectations but this product really blew them away. It was relatively easy to install (hindered somewhat by aforementioned pets), and even though I measured our door wrong and we had to install a couple of sheets side by side you can't tell unless you're right up against the glass. The rainbows it casts are a bonus (and the pets seem to like them), and it looks way classier than I anticipated even given the reviews / images. Like other reviewers mentioned, the adhesion around edges and corners can be a little inconsistent. We have a bottom edge that never adhered quite right, but it hasn't affected the rest of the panel or gotten worse and it too is virtually unnoticeable unless very close up. Best of all: easily removeable (and reinstallable); there is no adhesive involved! It's really just slightly soapy water and the film itself. We had to remove things a couple times to get the placement right (because I can't measure apparently) but it was no problem reattaching. I don't know how you might store this if you had to remove it and not reattach it immediately (there's a protective film separating the back from the front when first installing), but it seems like that's something you could do (say if one were moving). If you need to add privacy and / or pizzazz to windows in your home without adhesives or construction, give this a try. I think you'll be pleased! ... show more

For application: Bought two rolls of different sizes. One came with folds in it that are a bit noticeable and that same roll was having a hard time sticking to the window so we put tape to help it stay. The second roll stuck on the window pretty well and was easy to put on. It didnt come with folds like the other one so maybe it was a fluke. For look: It looks very pretty and all sunlight coming in feels filtered and turns into rainbows. Even the bit of sunbeam that reaches from this room into the next through the door. When theres not much sun hitting it its exactly as the pictures. For privacy: I am not sure if its because of the window net but the 1 roll with the folds looks more see through than the 2nd. If its darker inside my room it does feel a bit more private. It doesnt help with privacy as much as I had hoped though. I hoped for it too look a bit more blurred. But I can still very much distinguish shapes. Especially at night when my room is lit up and the outside is dark, you can see inside well. ... show more

Works and looks great, stays in place. Just use lots of soapy water. Trends to curl when applying if cold (below 60 F) but lays right down of you hit it lightly with heat gun or hairdryer.

And super easy to install. I mean, Bing, bam, boom kind of easy. And that's saying a lot for me bc I make things so difficult sometimes. I love love love this window film. The rainbow effect is gorgeous and the privacy it provides is also huge reason I got it. You can use it in any room from the bathroom, kitchen, sunroof, and even the living room if you want. Have this on a bathroom window and it is very effective. You cannot see thru it at all. If it was pitch black outside and the light was on inside you may be able to see outline movements. But nothing distinguishable. It also gives beautiful rainbows in the house when the sun shines through. I especially like that it has no sticky adherence. You just use water and smooth it out. I was able to remove it from one window and put it back up on another with no issue. ... show more

My daughter’s window faces the setting sun and can get very hot. It also faces the street so limited privacy. This cover was perfect to solve both the issue of the light and give privacy.
