It’s… only okay. I really wanted to love this product but I ended up returning it. None of the games properly saved, and the device itself feels very flimsy. I also had some difficulty with a handful of the games not loading at all (and yes, I tried the proper troubleshooting based on the included instructions). That said, for the price and the sheer number of games you get, for a proper gamer this is a blast to own.

I bought the R36MAX mainly for nostalgia, but I ended up being genuinely impressed with how well it performs. It boots up quickly, menus are smooth, and it runs all the classic 2D games flawlessly. Even some lighter 3D titles play surprisingly well with no noticeable lag. The screen is one of the highlights. The 4-inch IPS display is bright, sharp, and looks great from any angle. Colors really pop, and the 720×720 resolution makes old-school games look better than I expected. It’s easy on the eyes and works well indoors or on the go. It comes loaded with games right out of the box, which is nice because you can start playing immediately. Storage hasn’t been an issue either—64GB is plenty, and it’s nice knowing you can expand it if you want to add more later. Battery life has been solid. I usually get around 5–6 hours depending on what I’m playing, which is more than enough for trips or long sessions. The built-in speakers are decent, and having a headphone jack is a big plus. Overall, this feels like a well-made handheld for anyone who loves retro games. It hits that nostalgia factor hard, but it’s also powerful enough to actually enjoy playing—not just collecting. Definitely happy with the purchase.

For the price it really is a good value, however it includes games the require the light "zapper" gun. These titles brought back memories and I couldn't wait to play, unfortunately you can't. Not sure why you include games you can't play. Overall still a good value.

I absolutely loved it. It has a huge variety of games you wouldn't believe. The screen is clear and sharp, and the size is perfect for comfortable gameplay. The battery lasts a long time, and the lightweight design makes it easy to take anywhere. Ideal for those who enjoy classic games and want an affordable yet functional portable console. Only worked for 2 days. I played a game saved it with the quick save feature. The game wouldnt load up again. Happened multiple times with multiple games. Don't waste your time. Im returning it immediately
