This seemed like the perfect gift for my children. Endless amount of games all packed into a small device for their enjoyment. I could have overlooked the cheap, flimsy materials and the poor battery life, but I am of the belief that things should function as they are advertised. Although the device has games from many systems several of the systems are totally unplayable. The hardware either can't keep up or the software is not supported. Additionally, while we tried to still enjoy the product by playing the older games (which was the primary goal anyway) the games do not save regardless of adjusting the settings. Do you know how hard it is to comfort a 6 year old after his first pokemon, ever, is erased by no fault of his own? Happens every time. I know the price is not high, but I feel like even with low expectations this device failed my family. My son's bulbasaur is gone forever.

This retro console is perfect! I bought this as a gift for my spouse and he was hooked as he turned it on, bonus was that it came 90% charged so he didn't have to wait to try it out. I have since captured it to play Mario Cart and it was so fun getting to play these old games. It has a good battery life so far. The blue color I got was beautiful. So far one or two games have been in black and white but otherwise the quality of the games have been really good. Recommend this 10/10!! Full disclosure : I bought another one from another seller and it could not even turn on so I can attest this one is real and works well!

This console is worth every penny. Games are tremendously playable, great screen brightness and visuals, good sound. Tons of games, especially for Gameboy Advance that I can recall. A good number of the onboard game platform emulators provide over 1000 games, others between 100 to 300 games, a few less than a hundred. But there is a feature that allows you to download ROM files in a particular readable format. Online resources like the Internet Archive might be able to provide ROMS-- I looked up gaming ROMS on it and it listed some. The one drawback on my console is a soccer ball button at center of the console front. That button is a little wobbly like it might come loose, but it works fine to open a brightness control. I'm generally just leaving it alone. I did take the two year Amazon warranty for seven dollars, just because this is a generic console and I didn't know what I'd be getting. But it turned out mine was just great value for money. It has several Castlevania games, Zelda one and two, doom, Phantasy Star Collection, Mortal Combat games, old Pacman, Centipede, Asteroids, Xevious, and tons more big name games. Don't miss this one--just take the Amazon warranty and you'll be fine.
