These are beefy rotors - The metal is thick and substantial. I like that I can see where the rotors were balanced - a step that is missing in cheap rotors. The black coating extends across the entire surface of the rotor and may help it resist rusting. The black itself rubs off in the areas that the brake pads touch, so don't go thinking you will get a "dark knight" looking brake rotor - they will appear silver. But the drilled and slotted areas help dissipate the heat and shed water, improving braking distance. The pads were a perfect fit. Overall, I could not have been happier with my purchase. So far so good! I like my ceramic brake pads and rotors although I was disappointed to find out that the color black on my rotors are temporary per what my mechanic said! I have a black car and was wanting the rotors to look thru my rims.

First off the brake pads are already dusty straight out of the box. They feel like really full chalkboard erasers if you clap them together, also is advertised as Being chamfered but the pads I received or not
