I ordered this a/c unit for my daughter. She lives in an older house that has an attic that has been finished off. Well… it has MOSTLY been finished off. It seems like the person that did the work did just about everything EXCEPT heating and cooling. Two REALLY major omissions if you ask me! Anyway, my daughter uses the finished attic area as her art room. During the spring and fall… she does just fine up there. During the winter, it’s too cold and during the summer… you guessed it… it’s too hot! This air conditioning unit, by R.W.Flame has helped the summer situation out quite a bit! Even though the attic area can get roasting hot during the summer, this unit is helping to keep the area cool enough to allow her to continue working up there even on hot days. It’s simple to use and simple to set up. The remote works exactly how a remote should work and the a/c keeps the temperature down enough to work. This does not keep the entire area of the attic cooled down… but we weren't expecting that to happen. But it keeps her section of the attic, that she has claimed as her art room, cooled down.

This is the greatest poratable air conditioner around! It has a custom window kit for venting, is perfect for food trucks and vendors for staying cool out in the sweltering heat! It's easy to use, and easy to transport. This unit has strong cast wheels that make moving it from room to room a peice of cake! It comes with a remote that has an Led digital display screen that features the current temperature as well as one atop of this awesome unit! It blows super cold air throughout my home and isn't really big and ɓulky like a lot of other units I've experienced. It's high quality, durably made, and is perfect for anyone who isn't very tech savvy like myself!

We got this for our bedroom.. the window isn’t very wide so we did have to cut the window sizer quite a bit. The noise level for this is comparable to our big fan we were using.. so it’s not very quiet.. we have to turn the TV up by like 15-25pts depending on the show just to hear it at night with the AC on. Some of the things that bothers me about this (hence the 3 stars) is that the beeps on this AC Are SO DAMN LOUD!!! Like almost fuhgeddaboudit if you wanna change anything on the unit and you’re sharing space with a light sleeper or a baby because my gawwwd the BEEPS!!! Also, the temperature number on the unit vs on the remote are different. They appear to be off by one number. Which one is correct?? It’s kind of infuriating to someone who has minor OCD tendencies to see such a disconnect. Honestly driving me nuts and I tried turning it off and on to correct it but no? UPDATED 06/22/2024: After using it sparingly when the weather has gotten above 80, it has already stopped cooling our bedroom. That is with the door shut and even on high. Our room is not very large.. it’s an average bedroom, nothing fancy. The unit will sometimes blow actual AC type air and then stop and keep blowing but only fan-like air where it’s just moving the heat of the room around. Do yourself a favor and buy something better that will last.
