I bought this for a large rental 1920's bungalow farm house. the dimensions were right on and it fit perfectly in the opening. The Flame and logs look good and the color options are nice along with the dimmable programs. the heating element works well. Have not tested how well it warms up a large living room yet but it seems like a good supplemental source. I turned it on and asked one of my workers what he thought and he said " I love it!". As far as I know he only loves his truck and his dewalt tools and his dog so I will take it as high praise! the only negative I have to say about it is that it seems like when it is off, it has a slight wavy feel to the glass. But I am sure it will set the room off and help tent the house. Glad to have it and at a decent price!

Love it! Just slide out of the box, plug it in and turn on. Battery already in the remote. We were able to lower out heat and turn this on to warm up the room. Who says you don’t need a fireplace in Florida. Lots of chilly mornings and gives a cozy feel to the room.

Would not have bought this had I been able to see what the flame looked like. The colors you are able to choose are pretty, the heat output is great and easy to install. However, it does not look as realistic as the electric fireplace I have in bedroom for the price. Would have sent back if it wasn't such a hassle

Researched a long time to find this size electric fireplace with heater, to fit existing 34" opening in cabinet to replace an old, noisy electric fireplace that only had the logs/yellow flame/brick background. Was looking for one that had blue as one of the flame colors, in this size, shipped by Amazon (not China), with heat and remote. This checked all of the boxes, wasnt as bulky (deep) or heavy as the old one, plus it was delivered in TWO days! Would have been perfect if flames reached higher up the glass, instead of mainly just bottom 1/3 to 1/2, if heat had as hot/strong output as the old one (but it is sufficient for our tv area), and if remote had a farther reach, but we ❤️ it and how simple it was to plug in, fit this (apparently) hard-to-find size, watch the varied flame colors (including blue!), and complete/update our wall cabinet front.

This met our expectations for the price! They werent super high but nonetheless met them and slightly exceeded in some areas. I built a fireplace/mantle in our master bedroom and was looking for an affordable electric fireplace strictly for the aesthetic. We didn’t want one of the more common long rectangular styles but a more traditional “square” one. We went with the 34” which fit great. The dimensions on the surround and mantle are 60” W x 53” T x 10” D for reference. 1x12 and 1x8 used for the mantle. We have it just sitting on the ground inside of the surround, does not need any additional stand or bracing, just a flat surface is sufficient. The fake brick on the inside was missing which was a bonus for me because I planned to remove it anyway. Based on reviews and pictures this doesn’t appear to be consistent and just like of the draw. Just a nice black flat surface in ours which is definitely preferred in my opinion. The logs are not very dimensional and look kind of “flat”, but I expected that for the price and slim profile of the fireplace. The LED chips aren’t visible but could be diffused a little better, you can see where they are placed behind the fake logs. The features all work as they should including the heater. All-in-all I believe that if you don’t set extremely high expectations, and are reasonable due to the price of this fireplace. you will be satisfied with this unit.

After installing front control board stopped working, heat element overheated after 3 hours of operation and the remote only works if you are within 5 feet of the device. I sent in a request to correct with no response.
