  • Matches my Mac mini perfectly
Color: UH25 SE (Silver)
I got this to add additional storage to my M2 mac mini. Adding internal storage was very easy and it is nice to have ports accessible on the front. I have had no issues with this in the 3 months I have owned it.

  • Excellent Addition
Color: UH25 SE (Silver)
This is a great add on for the Mac mini. I added a 1tb hard drive and it is very responsive and works flawlessly.

  • Great hub for Mac mini
Color: UH25 SE (Silver)
This item has a very premium look and feel to it with a good build quality. It almost looks like it’s part of the Mac mini which is the idea. Plenty of ports that all seem to function very well. Some of the throughput speed is slower than advertised but you never know if that’s the device on the other end. The only thing that doesn’t get five stars is because it seems to be a little bit finicky about the drives that it accepts. Some of them work find a new problem and others don’t show up. But this is just for the internal drive dock. Everything else works perfectly . ... show more

  • All the ports you need and an integrated SSD enclosure!
Color: UH25 SE (Silver)
This thing sits on top of our Mac mini M2 Pro and blends into our setup nicely. We have it rotated 90 degrees so the cables aren't coming out of the front. This sits on our livestream production Mac mini at church and has every port occupied. We have not had any issues with power consumption at all, unlike our last powered USB hub. We are not at present using the SSD enclosure option, but we appreciate it is there for when the time comes. There are integrated sticky tabs on the bottom which allow you to attach the hub to the top of the Mac mini, but we didn't use those either because we do want to be able to access the SSD enclosure in the future. I'd recommend Command temporary tabs or Velcro to attach the mini and the hub if you do plan to use the SSD enclosure, just in case you need to access the hatch for it. ... show more

  • Defective product
Color: UH25 SE (Silver)
I actually liked the look and how easy it was to install the drive, but the SD card slot does not read cards, so the dock is virtually useless. For 80 dollars every port needs to be functional.

  • The perfect addition to my Mac Mini M1
Color: UH25 SE (Silver)
Mac, in their wisdom and search for the perfect design aesthetic, put the ports for the MIni on the back of the box. Not very useful if your Mac is in a rack like mine, or you want to use a wired keyboard, etc. This USB C hub is exactly what I was looking for. It provides another HDMI port for my second 4K monitor. But the real purpose of this device is to provide additional ports to the front with one USB 2, Two USB 3's, a USB C, and memory card readers mini and the older larger version. The two USB ports on the back of the Mini are dedicated to a KVM hookup and another aux device. Now I have all the ports I'll need for jobs like charging my wireless keyboard and trackpad at the same time, as well as connecting a USB C device - all without dragging the Mini out of the rack or tapping into the KVM hub. Bonus: I installed a 2TB SSD for additional storage into the device. I am using it for first draft graphics jobs before moving the later drafts and final versions over to the Mac HD, avoiding eating up all my iCloud storage with earlier versions. I'm not worried about losing the earlier drafts because I use Time Machine backups as well. Which leads to another reason for buying this device - you can install up to an 8TB drive and use it as your seamless Time Machine drive. It looks nice with the Mini. It is nearly imperceptibly a hair wider than the Mini which I probably wouldn't notice if I was mounting the Mini on top of it. I put it on top for even easier access to the ports. It is a little darker gray than my mini - perhaps because it is newer and not faded yet. Either way, is does not look bad. It has a tiny blue pilot light and the white light "breathes" like the older Mini during sleep mode. It also acts as a typical blinking drive-activity light. Adding the drive did not make the device hot. It was a bit warm to the touch as I transferred over a 1,700 files. Otherwise it is barely warm during daily use. I've had SATA drives that would keep your coffee warm if you set the cup on top. :-) As mentioned above, just what I needed and it might be just what you are looking for. ... show more

  • Connects to Mac
Color: UH25 SE (Silver)
Connects up to my Mac without issue. I have installed the ssd hard drive in the unit, and this gives me very fast speeds to store and backup without having to worry of moving driver failure. the compact size is a nice plus as I just leave it on my desk with out clutter.
