I thought this was going to be cheap and not really improve airflow and honestly thought I would just end up sending it back. This thing has been perfect in pulling cold air into my upstairs. My basement and first floor stay cold but it's hot on the 2nd floor even at night. This thing has dropped the temperature 7 degrees. It's even better if you use another fan to it close by as I sleep with one anyways. Keeps it Cold at night and help temperatures during the day too. The different settings are nice but I always just keep it on high. The remote is really nice. It's built well and not cheap and feels like it's going to break. It also looks very clean and better then metal vent. I like the black a lot. It's powerful but works best on high. The size is great and fits perfect for all vents in my house. Their is no coil whine or annoying whine noise. I am going to buy 3 more for all the rooms on my 2nd floor. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs help pulling ac/heat into certain rooms in their house that air struggles to reach.

I was a bit skeptical of this item at first, had a different product years ago that didn't seem to help. But the second story in our home tends to run 3-5 degrees warmer in the summer than the main floor where the thermostat is located and took the chance that this may help. Installation was quite easy, just make sure you get the right size, loved that they had a variety of size choices unlike many other competitors. I admit, it took me a few minutes to understand how to lock in the settings correctly, but got them eventually. The highest fan speed is a bit noisy, but we are a fan family and it's more just like background white noise. And we'll take the noise because the velocity with which it pulls the air is quite strong, you can feel it from several feet away! We are very happy with the unit, when the AC is running, it cools the room to the exact same temperature as the thermostat is set, even a degree lower sometimes! That being said, you have to understand how it works. You program the cooling temperature lower than the thermostat setting by a few degrees, but not colder than the temperature of the air when the AC is blowing. The fan should be off until the AC starts blowing, and once it senses colder air, the fan turns on. This means that when the AC is actively blowing, it makes a significant difference in the room temperature. However, if there are longer periods when the AC is not blowing, the room temperature will creep back up because the unit is off (as it should be since it would then be pulling in hotter air just sitting in the vents). Just a word of caution so you have realistic expectations. My only minor complaint is that it does seem to take a couple minutes to turn on after the AC starts blowing, and stays on for a couple minutes after the AC clicks off. But it's a minor issue and does not seem to detract from overall performance.

I have an undersized AC in my home and my living room has 12ft ceilings and it struggles to stay cool during the summer. The output from the vents (in the floor) is there, but not as strong as it should be so after looking at a few much more expensive register booster fans I decided to the give this a try since they didn't have the size I needed. This actually works perfectly for what I need: - Turns on a set point for either heat or cool. - Has a screen lock (This feature is amazing - I have a very curious child that loves buttons). - Significantly more air output that the existing register. I have to run mine on speed 10(which is the noisiest) to get the air output I need for my space but the sound is tolerable for how much money these will save me. Also, kind of a nice feature is that the fans don't suddenly spin to the maximum speed rather they ramp up and ramp down. With the greater output I'm feeling optimistic my AC will be running much less this summer. I'm super pleased with these, especially for the price!

Product came damaged but functions. Build quality is not great. As for the functionality the unit works good. There is a noticeable difference in room temp. We bypassed the temp range and went right for the direct fan speeds. Level 10 moved a lot of air, but is a bit noisy. Not horrible, probably half the noise of a box fan. Anything less that level 5 seems like a waste. The temp range works and I look forward to using it this winter to help with temperature differences in each room.

Item just as described. Flush fit, easy to install. After watching countless of videos on TikTok, YouTube, Amazon reviews of all the different listings, I found this one to be the best one to try. Surprisingly, within 30minutes, we can definitely feel a temperature difference in an 11x11 room! AC was pushing out cold air, the fan provided an accurate reading of the temp, and after setting the fan to 10, the air was PUSHING! 🙌 After day 1, ready to order 2 more! Well worth the cost, and we don’t need to have the magnetic plastic air flow attachment anymore on the vent! Don’t hesitate, trust this review, and you won’t be disappointed!

Exactly what we needed for the upstairs bedroom! They pull more of the AC cool air up to the room and keeps the rooms cooler. We can raise the temp in our thermostat as these little fans are keeping the rooms at our preferred temp. They are easy to install and setup as long as you follow the directions. We’ve been running one in each bedroom for about a month now and at full fan speed (10) with no issues. The power cord is long enough to reach an outlet. Highly recommend as these are a great value and work as described. The remote works fine, but I just don’t use it as it’s easy enough to adjust settings on the register.
