This kit is listed as the right one for my engine, but it was about a half quart short. I had to run to the store to buy another quart. Besides the inconvenience, I’d still buy this next time.

Great kit. I especially like the inclusion of the little hose. It made the oil change neat with no spillage. Maybe I have a different year or something. I wish the year range was specified in the description. I have a 2017 2.0L 115HP Mercury and the label on the front of the inside engine cover says it takes 5.2L or 5.5 Quarts. This kit includes 5L and the dipstick did show the oil level at the minimum (with a filter change). ... show more

So like others said, the kit was a 1/2qt short for my motor. Annoying but not the end of the world. And to be fair, it is technically in the “safe” zone on the stick. I saw some comments about the filter not being correct, I noticed the OEM filter on mine ended in 29, where the one provided ended in 30. From what I can tell they are compatible. Threaded on and sealed, no leaks, I’m rolling with it. I assume it has something to do with mercury vs quicksilver not having identical numbers. ... show more
