The kit overall is a great value. The replacement filter fits perfectly but is clearly lighter weight and lower quality construction when compared with the OEM Mercury brand filter the motor came with. Should be good enough as they are a “premier supplier” for Mercury Marine. The biggest peeve I have with this kit is that, while it claims to have “everything you need in the box” it only includes 5 quarts of oil. My Mercury 90HP (which the box claims applicability to) uses 5.5 quarts. After pumping the sump dry and installing an empty oil filter, this motor will need every last drop. I still recommend this kit but would also suggest ordering another quart. This will provide just enough oil for two changes. The downside is that buying individual quarts gets spendy. ... show more

I have a 2018 Merc 115 command thrust and this kit was perfect. It even included the drain tube that connects to the engine. I'll be ordering this one again.
