I received this cabinet less than 48 hrs. after ordering, a full week early! Awesome job. This was very easy to assemble and I'm now waiting 24 hrs for glue to completely cure before I wall mount this cabinet. The front of the cabinet is real hardwood maple and the back, sides and shelves are a very high quality plywood. This kitchen cabinet is great. It is well-built and very easy to assemble and once assembled it is very strong. One of the things that stands out on this cabinet is the self closing doors. All you have to do is either painted or stain it and want to ship to whatever color you want

    • I hate to say it, American made junk.
If you have purchased this item, DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS exactly. I knew better than to put a bead of glue in the groove right away and figured I better test fit. The fit is way to snug, such that even though I was test fitting I could not remove the piece once I started sliding it into the groove. If you are going to attempt this it will take some work, sanding and removing any and ALL splinters and there are a lot of them. Unfortunately my cabinet is now worthless. I tried coaxing the side piece out with a mallet and it will not budge. Eventually I splintered the edge of the side piece trying to remove it. Again, remove all rough areas and clean out the grooves well. That side piece should slide in easily but snugly at the same time. Neither side would go in for me. Oh, and I ordered the unfinished cherry style and of course there is no cherry in the whole cabinet. I didn't really expect there to be but just a heads up. Bottom line here for the manufacturer, no QA in their processes. Be forewarned. ... show more

    • All wood, no particle board, but they don't just "slide" together

Overall, I am happy with the cherry cabinet. I read that you need to clean or sand dovetail joints prior to assembly. I lightly chiseled and sanded the birch plywood before inserting it into the cherry frame and it was crazy tight. I broke the frame trying to pound it in with a rubber mallet. I disassembled the frame to drive in the other side into the cherry frame and I splintered the plywood despite cleaning out the joint even more. I had no issue with the plywood to plywood joints. This cabinet was a strange side mount, so I had to reinforce the cabinet a little anyway, so I was able to hide the damage. I would buy again, but I would consider even running it through a router to clean the edges. ... show more

Ugh. I have assembled a lot of furniture in my lifetime and this was one of the hardest things I’ve ever put together. The plywood for the box is full of splinters, very rough edges, the dovetails were very difficult to slide into place. We had to go buy a wax stick and wax the edges in order to get it to go together. It was short some of the screws for the hinges so I had to go to a hardware store to find the right size screws. There are knots on some of the pieces that were filled with wood glue at the factory and sanded. Overall, I’m just not impressed. I expected better for Amish made furniture. ... show more

I can't say enough good things about these cabinets. I used 4 of the wall kitchen cabinets and used them for some office built ins. They come packed VERY well. The ones I ordered were unpainted so I could match them to my wall paint. Assembly was super easy: Just use some wood glue and the parts all slide together. No misalignment or missing parts. Super pro-level product. Primed and painted and I was on my way. The other great feature is that these are soft close doors, so that adds a whole other level of quality on top of these. My friends love these are immensely jealous that I have SO much room. It really upgraded my office and these are REAL wood (maple or birch), not that MDF stuff that'll fall apart in a year. Great product, highly recommend for the DIYer or the pro. Also I ordered these just before Christmas with an expected late Jan delivery. Nope, they came early. Love this product. They're offering could be larger with more size and style offerings. Love that these come in a flat box. Packaging could be better, they are a little hasn't and can get damaged in shipment because of that (corner protectors). However out of the 7 or 8 pieces I ordered 4 or 5 were the wrong pieces. Either wrong color, wrong hand end pieces, wrong cabinet style. Returns were easy with shipping pickup labels through UPS. Can't imaging they'll keep making money with wrong shipments though. ... show more
