I’m very happy with this purchase. I did a lot of research. The biggest concern I had with other products were that bugs were sent in the packaging (returned items) or they were defective. Recently while sleeping I woke up with bites around my leg. I got super paranoid! We had a friend bring fleas over to our home in December and recently had that same friend over (I know - dumb). Here I are the steps I took: stripped everything in my bedroom and daughters bedroom and bagged items. Pillows we’re thrown in the dryer on high heat. I Steamed the carpets and mattresses. Took apart my daughters bed frame and steamed inside the frame and did the same for mine. Then I spread Harris Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade under the carpets, over the carpets and on her bed frame. Then I spread it on her mattress. After I washed (see below for instructions) I put it on the mattress, leaving the Diatomaceous Earth On the mattress. It is non-toxic and won’t hurt you. It drys out any bugs that come into contact with it (including bed bugs). I spread the Diatomaceous Earth under her chair, under chair cushions and behind the chair. I left the Diatomaceous Earth on my carpet and under my bed for almost a week (since that is where I was getting bit) and then vacuumed it up but left it under my bed frame, under my dresser, under my carpet and under my chair. My husband says I’m going over board but I think it’s better to be safe. I unpackaged this in my laundry room and immediately washed in hot water. I tumbled dry on low heat (took 2 cycles to completely dry). It fit my mattress and my mattress pad easily. It was easy to put on, both my husband and I worked together. I also purchased a twin sized one and that I was able to put on my daughters bed by myself. It just takes one person to bring something into your home. So I view this as a precaution for the future. And yes, I will keep the Diatomaceous Earth under my bed. I also have it sprinkled under my livingroom carpet and under my couch cushions and under my couch. My daughter has a lot of play dates and our house seems to be the preferred place. This gives me peace of mind.

I had to switch mattress covers to fit my mattress topper underneath and I chose this one after a bit of research. Its pretty sturdy and has a strong zipper. The only thing I didn't like was that the top of it is like a terry cloth fabric but I suppose it keeps my sheets from slipping around.

Perfect zippered king mattress protector. Soft and wonderful feel. Put on a king mattress myself with no problem. Have a 9" mattress and fits perfect with a little stretch to it. Doesn't shift and move all over like regular mattress protectors. Will see how it holds up. But, would definitely buy this again.

This is the one you want to buy the zipper goes all the way around, which makes it so easy to put on. It makes no noise. I can’t comment on the water proof feature because I didn’t want to wet it. It is very nicely made.it is terry cloth on the top and a nice material on the sides and bottom. I am thinking about buying another for a different bed. Even has Velcro covering the zipper pull Definitely 5 star product. The price was right too.
