So I bought this cover April 2022 when I got a new foam mattress. And I've used this cover ever since. Recently my estranged daughter came to spend the night and I let her have my bed for the night. She had an accident, and the next morning when I removed the sheets and this mattress topper, the mattress was still bone dry. I am planning to buy two more just like it and thats when paid attention to all the bad reviews. I've washed the mattress case once a month and line dry, and even after 18 months of use and washings, it still prevented the mattress getting wet from a 16 year old having an accident. I'm still going to buy a couple more. I'm highly satisfied. I've also not had the zipper or seam issues of other reviews. And the "air" pocket isn't an issue, it deflates after a few minutes when you lay down. I like this mattress case, because unlike most other waterproof cases. It has a cloth top that doesn't leave me feeling sweaty and sticking to the fitted sheet like a rubber mattress topper.

I really do like this mattress cover, it's very nice and well constructed HOWEVER I did not find it so easy to install alone. Did I accomplish it? Yes. Was it awkward? YESSS. Was it as easy as the other reviewers lead one to believe? No way. It's totally doable but it takes some creativity - that is, if you're like me and you don't want this thing falling all over the floor as you're putting it on. If the floor doesn't bother you then this thing will be easier for you than it was for me. But like I said, it's a great cover and very well made. Would I buy it again? YES!

I’ve purchased this mattress cover twice. The first one I had for 5 years and the only reason I had to replace it was totally my fault. I accidentally bleached it with some towels and while it still looked great, it lost all its waterproofing properties. These things are magic though. No water or fluids can get through it to the mattress. My new mattress required that I have a mattress protector in order to be covered under warranty and this protector fit the bill. You don’t need any harsh chemicals to wash whatever gets on this, only regular laundry detergent and it looks brand new out of the washer. Definitely worth the money!! High quality right here.

I bought this when I had bedbugs. This helped to avoid replacing my expensive mattress and to conquer the little critters. This is for sure waterproof, just make sure to use it top side up. Good buy.
