Delivered with the hardware pack ripped open and half of the screws missing. The bed pieces were covered in debris and broken styrofoam. Bed frame looks to have very poor quality. Looks like it was returned for quality reasons and resold. So disappointing.

I have owned a number of good beds and I love how this bed looks. It is comfortable to "bump" into the headboard and I love how the side rails feel if a "bump" them. The foam and linen combo is classy and familiar without seeming too dressed-up, feeling durable to my hand. I am unsure how long that fabric will retain its "clean" look, but with care and gentle cleaning I expect the better part of a decade. My big concern, and why I only could give it 4 stars, is that I would be happier if the slats and side rails were a bit thicker/heavier. I worry that normal movement in bed could break a single slat, if it gets enough weight directly on it only. I only held back the star after thinking about how it also could use beefier side rails or maybe a bit more metal to the frame. It concerns me as I remember how much thicker most beds I've owned were. If they were wood, the total weight was much greater. And, if they were metal frames, they were a more box-like shape that included more total metal. So, as this will most certainly lead to stability issues if the bed gets "bumped" or "bounced" too hard or too frequently. This may be a value related concern for some, so I wanted to do my best to share my concerns. Otherwise, this bed is wonderful and it fits our mattress perfectly. (By the way, if we used a boxspring all my doubts would be gone...) It is easy to set-up, it isn't too heavy, once unpacked. Thankfully, It was delivered to my door, as I couldn't have carried this package by myself anywhere. I just had to open it where it was to move the parts separately to my room. Not an issue and as I was speaking of it being less than beefy, it is fair to say that none of the parts individually are weak. If I am wrong about the long-term stability and value concerns, I will return and share those observations. As it is very reasonably priced bed frame and as it might be easier to just order a new bed when moving, this bed could be a fantastic value for most everyone. It does feel stable right now and it has been used by hubby and I for a few weeks now.

This upholstered platform bed frame brings a really clean, classic look to a bedroom with its tall wingback headboard and arched tufted design. Getting it put together takes a little over an hour, and while the process can be a bit awkward if you are assembling it alone in a cramped room, the instructions and overall setup are fairly straightforward to handle. The light grey fabric feels premium and the cushioning on the headboard adds a nice layer of comfort for sitting up in bed. In terms of performance, it feels solid right out of the gate and offers good, stable support without needing a separate box spring. So far it seems sturdy but time will tell if it holds up to that heavy-duty rating over the long haul, which is always a healthy hesitation to have with new furniture. It functions exactly as advertised and is a great option if you want a substantial, stylish centerpiece for the room that feels secure. It's worth mentioning that I'm over 300lbs and this seems to hold me no problem.
