I purchased this because the design is different than many others. The bottom drawer/mid-bed support is on rollers and detached from the rest of the structure. The others showed multiple drawers in a nested extension arm. The bottom drawer is on rollers, easy to assemble, and holds the bedding. Overall the assembly was time consuing (8ish hours), and could be done solo (only needed specific assist when attaching the 2 back panels). You will need help moving the boxes upon arrival - very heavy! And you should pay attention to where notches and hinges go - I had to redo a step, but still got 'er done. Slept on it last night. Things I'd change - make the cord on the electric panel longer. I purchased the tri-fold matress seperately so no comments here on that. I'm happy with the purchase. Once assembled it is easy to open/set-up and then to put back. The seller was very consider it about a late delivery. Pictures of set-up: closed, drawer out, panel down and legs extending, fully out w/matress in place.

I bought this Queen Murphy bed to use in my office for when we have the occasional out of town guest. It looks great, and I bought a folding mattress that fits inside the top space perfectly. It has a large bottom drawer that holds pillows and sheets for the bed too. I assembled this all by myself and thought the directions were easy to follow. All the parts were marked well too which also helped! The bed came in two boxes, each we’re around 100 pounds. The most difficult part of assembly was moving boxes upstairs to the room, but I had help with that. Overall I’m very happy with this product and think it looks great the room.

Update: The seller still has not reached out to me. I purchased this based off of another reviewer because they said the company recently changed to solid wood. That is a lie. It is not solid nor stable at all and the company does not seem to stand behind their product. This is listed as “solid pine” It is absolutely NOT solid pine. I expected a few parts to be engineered wood despite the lie on the description, but this whole thing is crap “mixed wood”. I didn’t see even 1 piece that was solid. Very flimsy. There are tons of parts and pieces to put this thing together. The “wood” just chips off while you’re trying to put the screws in. It took about 6 hours to put together. This was very expensive and is not going to hold up long. It’s a real shame. The wheels are tiny, so if you have carpet it is almost impossible to pull the drawer out. I would look elsewhere for a good solid Murphy bed. This is NOT it.

I’d give 4.5 stars if that was possible, would give this 5 stars but an essential piece was a bit warped so it made construction a bit more challenging. It’s heavy and sturdy, seems well made. It’s very attractive and compact. Because I got the white I decided to go with a black, white, grey , brown color scheme. We will only close it up when we want to use the room for other activities. I did a TON of research before this purchase. One of the selling points was the free shipping. But I really love the design and it wasn’t “ farmhouse” like so many of them. Lots of work to construct but worth it. We have our first guest arriving tonight. I hope it’s comfy

We bought this bed for our small spare bedroom along with the 4 inch memory foam mattress. It did take two of us 3-4 hours to put together but it wasn’t hard. Our first guest slept on it this past weekend and had nothing but great things to say.

Overall, I would rate 2 stars out of 5. We purchased the queen-sized bed and have used for guests twice. Upon the second use by my in-laws, there was splitting in the wood around a screw head on the front “door” that doubles as the central portion of the bed frame. My in-laws are at least two hundred pounds below the weight limit and elderly (so extremely gentle and slow moving) and we carefully constructed the bed according to all manufacturer instructions. (Which took around 4 hours by my construction-savvy husband) Additionally, one of the “drawers” crumpled under the pressure of my fingers trying to pull out the drawer. This is rather difficult to do because the drawers are not on any form of caster. They just float underneath the bed. So, overall incredibly cheap and fragile Engineered wood. The drawers also do not fit two standard-sized pillows which you would think would be the purpose of “storage” in and around a Murphy bed. Additionally, the outlet box used for “convenient” phone charging didn’t work. Overall, the Poor quality of the manufacturing was incredibly disappointing for what we paid and the amount of labor required to construct. The bed still functions as a bed…. but I have a feeling will not last a full year. I would not purchase again and truthfully would not recommend.

We are happy with the final appearance of this bed and the materials used for putting the bed together are solid. The slides are critical to this and they are functioning well. It is real space saver - perfect for our small guest room. We added a topper to the mattress to soften it a bit but the mattress that comes with the bed is comfortable. My wife and I slept comfortably on it multiple nights. However, the instructions for putting this bed together are at best - bad. The instructions are pictographs that mimic what IKEA does but neglect key picture elements which left us scratching our heads as to what we were supposed to do. Also, the engineering for the materials was terribly uneven - not good. We had to cobble together too many solutions for things that would not tighten because holes were not drilled deep enough, or parts did not fit. Frankly, there are too many design flaws. We are happy with the final result but had to overcome too many design issues to give this more than 3-stars

Great bed! Very practical, stylish and good size. You just have to be gentle when opening it. Spacious bottom drawer. About 4 hours to assemble. A 6 inch mattress fit perfectly. It’s not solid pine though.
