It is comfortable when you’re fully on it. But if you try to sit on any edge of the bed and you’ll sink and slide off. It is thick, looks great, is firm and inflated quickly.

This review is for “Sivukd Queen Mattress, 12 Inch Queen Size Mattress in a Box, Hybrid Bed Mattresses with Individual Pocket Spring for Pressure Relief, Motion Isolation, CertiPUR-US” at $259.99 It was time to update our guest room mattress, so thought we’d give this mattress-in-a-bag option a shot, and are not disappointed. The package came as a large box with an entire queen mattress rolled up inside. The instructions are simple, essentially, carefully cut the outer bag, allowing the package to unroll in the direction you planned ahead of time. Ours unrolled in a couple moments, and we followed the instructions of letting it rest for a while to off-gas and fully unpack. We waited a week or so and then had a slumber party in the guest room. We both got a decent night’s sleep; the mattress was as comfortable as the posturepedic we were replacing. There is a pillow-top on it that is the right thickness for our tastes. The isolated springs inside do a good job of keeping one person’s movements to themselves. The only real difference I notice is in the sidewall: the traditional mattress had a more solid sidewall, so if you were to sit on the edge of the mattress, it wouldn’t collapse as much as this one does. That doesn’t affect sleeping, but may affect other moments with your mattress. And this shortcoming is the result of creating a mattress than can be rolled into a package from the outset. So ultimately that’s our only real complaint. I will give it 5 stars because I am sure that all rolled mattresses have this same shortcoming. Know what you are getting into and this is a fine mattress, especially for the price. ... show more

This mattress is pretty nice. We got it as our toddlers first adult sized bed, and it is really comfy. Unpacking it was super easy, they even include a tool to cut the packaging without cutting away the plastic. The mattress expands quickly, but the instructions say to wait 48 hours to use it. The mattress itself is nice and thick and comfy, though it is too thick to fit most toddler focused bed frames, especially bunk beds, so keep that in mind. My one complaint with the bed is that the sidewalls are very flimsy, so if I lay close to the edge while trying to lay next to my daughter it is liable to dump me off. Its pretty annoying, however my wife who is much lighter doesn't have as much issues. All in all it is a very comfortable bed and would be perfect for most use cases, but if I were to buy another mattress and I expected to have to lay on it with someone else then I would probably look elsewhere ... show more

I’m very happy with this hybrid mattress so far. I purchased it for my child, and it has been a great fit. We ordered this Sivukd Queen Mattress 12 inch queen to switch up our daughters bed to a big girl bed and decided to skip the middle twin bed and go straight to a queen. While I do not spend all my nights in there with her when I do get her ready for sleep when I lay down I feel very comfortable and supported. Arrived quickly, we were going away so we unwrapped it got it in position and left it for 2 weeks, we tried to line up the mattress as best we could before we let it expand. 12 inches is a perfect size, not too thin, and the great thing with a 12 inch if you want to skip the box spring and use bunkie boards or a metal frame for support you have some depth to this mattress - making it feel even more comfy. This bed has been purchased for a guest room by me, and it feels quite comfy considering its cost. The combination of medium firmness is a great choice since it feels soft from above but still provides sufficient support below. The hybrid construction of the bed works well, and it is great that there are pocket springs providing support and foam giving some extra cushioning. This bed is a great choice since it reduces movement well, so it is great for a couple of people sharing the bed. I have been surprised by how supportive the edges of the bed are.
