I mistakenly thought the cooler was for wine and beverages. Not so and did not appear to me modified to accommodate cans and bottled drinks. Also after reading the reviews, several complained of temperatures not reaching desirable level and loud noises from the cooler.

After researching and getting some responses to questions here on Amazon from other owners, I've been pleased with this wine refrigerator. The noise level is acceptable; not really any worse than a normal fridge, though I think if the back had a cover (over the compressor area), it would mute the sound more. Probably necessary to be open for ventilation purposes. On the plus side, it only comes on maybe twice per hour and for only about 1 minute at a time. I have mine in the main room near the TV, and if the TV is on, don't really notice it. In terms of questions I had asked about storing pinot noir sized bottles, pleased to report that there is no issue. In fact, the bottom couple shelves have more spacing between them than the top 3 (sort of saw that in the photos, but wasn't sure until I got it). Pinot bottles fit just fine; can alternate direction to get 4 across. I did invert the second shelf from the top to create 2 larger slots (lose one space) to allow larger-width bottles there. Checked temp with a thermometer and it is within +/-3 degrees. Overall, very happy with this product so far! ... show more

This works nicely overall. It struggles a bit if you have too many larger bottles, but it is ok if you have the standard size. My main gripe is the LED light that burns through my soul. I wish it could be turned off. But instead, I covered it with a black post-it.

As a wine refrigerator, this model works well. Keeps both zones at the correct temp and provides easy access to the wine. There's a bit of noise, but it's not excessive... what I'd expect from a refrigerator. On the downside, there is no way to turn off or dim the exterior temperature lights, which are very big and bright. They distract from an otherwise nice-looking fridge. I had read about that in other reviews but thought, "it can't be that annoying." I was wrong. Also, you need to manually turn on the interior light... it doesn't turn on/off when you open/close the door. ... show more
