Window sill depth 2 inches (5.1 cm) for base placement. Window sill must accommodate 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) screws. Sliding window lip/stool height 1.9 inches (4.8 cm). Does not work with slider, crank-out or casement windows.

Very sturdy, looks like it will last a long time. However, even the company video on the description page is not what you get. My unit came with the button springs installed in the support arms, they are not in the video, after half an hour struggling trying to adjust the arms, hole by hole, I removed the clips and installation then was a breeze.

Our window unit held up just fine without this, but we remove the unit in the fall and reinstall in the spring. It is located on the third floor so it was always a hassle to install and remove. This inexpensive item makes this task a breeze. Wish I would have purchased it along time ago. Good quality with plenty of hardware for installation.

Doesn’t great job of supporting a 90 lb LG ac unit. Easy to install. Came with a bunch of extra parts which I wondered about. Didn’t use the extra stuff but kept them for other projects. I highly recommend.

Directions for this item are severely lacking. I used the video on the product page to get a better idea of what to do, but even then had to improvise. The cotter pins won't go in unless the spring pin is flipped so that the spring doesn't block the holes. The anti slip brackets cannot be installed as shown in the video. Ended up bending the tab on the bracket so that it could get close to matching what the video shows with the bracket sticking up and the two smaller tabs resting on the main arms. Once I worked through the assembly the end product certainly seems sturdy. Overall I think the price on this item is high, especially with the installation challenges.
