After blowing my 12" rt Kickers with passive radiators, I need to replace subwoofers and a sub-box. The kickers were in a sealed enclosure. This time I wanted a tuned ported box. I thought the price was great. I was expected it to be a little flimsy and may not last, but it will do until I got something better. I was completely wrong. Amazing box, i installed Skar VD-12s and they are perfect on the 2017 Raptor, the amp i used is a HIFONICS 1200 watt and it’s enough, i built a bracket to match the bolts and nuts of the OEM sub. Great box, might be buying more based of jobs i get.

Cons - very cheaply made - not really 6.25 mounting depth as advertised so I couldn’t use subs I had planned on using - shotty port design - flimsy backside extension - some air leaks, needed to be sealed Pros - rhino lined very well - cheapest ported box online for F-150 for 12s I ended up using JL AUDIO TW1s subs, overall the box is ok for the money. Nothing special so don’t expect it to last forever. I used high quality thin line subs and it sounds ok but could be better if port was built correctly and if the box actually came advertised mounting depth. I installed with some reference 12s from Infinity and powered by a Pioneer 1600w. I had some pretty high end audio as a youth but haven't went aftermarket in years. I did this in my 18 F150 showing my son the ropes of car audio. I was very impressed by this setup. I still need to do some tuning but dang does it hit hard!!! ... show more

Needed a box for my truck in a pinch. This will work for now, but already looking to replace. Was literally a bare box with a poor, uneven bedliner coating. No wires, no polyfill. I reinforced the joints as best as possible, but I don't believe the provided specs on air space as the bass isn't as solid as it should be. There's very little middle ground between cheap and high end enclosures, but if at all possible, save for something better. I'll be replacing this soon and would only recommend as a temp solution not a permanent fixture as I feel I'm losing a lot of potential sound quality ... show more
