I can't find any battery indicator, and the system does not produce any sound unless plugged in. Both speakers have only a blue ring light in them (not blue and purple as pictured). They sound quite good, and seem to be good quality, but just not quite as advertised.

Despite its modest size this speaker system packs a punch! It has a peak power output of 400W with a 12-inch subwoofer and 1-inch tweeter. Because of its size, provided stand and loud volume, it's ideal for parties, outdoor activities, or just general use around the house. You can take it with you everywhere you go because it's wireless and has wheels and a handle for easy transport. Thanks to the outstanding battery life I can use it all day by the pool. It connects to Bluetooth devices like my phone, but also includes several ports for connectivity. The wired microphone is included. It has a wired mic and remote control for easy control. These did not work after 5 months. Sent in for repair. Looks like they opened the cabinets with a screwdriver and made a buzzing noise even worse after repair. Cannot get them to answer emails or calls at this point. DO NOT BUY!! Ugh!
