It has a BIG sound and I was shocked when I saw it was also a great little DVD player too! It seems to be very well built. It's one of the best purchases I've ever made. Don't hesitate, buy it. I bought mine to have something to listen to while I'm saving up $3,000 for a stereo system I have my eyes on. This player will more than make me happy till that day comes. I bought this nice little stereo for my son’s room. He likes collecting cds and wanted a way to play them. This stereo will not only play cds, but will bluetooth connect to his phone to play his Spotify playlist as well. It has an HDMI output as well should he ever have a screen in his room and want a way to play dvds. It has USB and auxiliary inputs as well which we haven’t tried yet but will probably hook his echo up to eventually. The stereo also has an fm tuner. It’s a nice stereo and does everything he could want it to do. The sound is good, it sounds full and rich and has decent bass. I like the clean, simple look of it. It has a remote, which is handy so he can switch it off from his bed without having to get up. ... show more

Right after this was delivered, I found a bunch of my old CDs. I put them in and the sound quality on these speakers is amazing. Adjusting the sound is super easy but when the bass on these speakers hit, this really does bring back some fond memories. Even when watching movies, the sound reminds me of just being in the movie theaters without having to deal with people talking or walking in front of me. Setting everything up didn't take much time. What took the longest was figuring out where I wanted the speakers to be at. The sound doesn't have to be intense, which is great for the kids but for those action and horror movies, the sound really does sound great. You can actually hear the smallest of sounds that I normally never hear. ... show more
