The media could not be loaded. EDIT #2, 12/19/2024 Beware if this item comes from GEP Sales and fulfilled by Amazon Prime. I have gotten 5 from that seller, on 2 different orders, and they are obviously not new items. They arrived with boxes marked, hand-taped, screws missing, 1 arrived with a different speaker in the box, and its replacement arrived in just a plastic bag. The previous Pyle 3.5" speakers I've gotten in the past thru Prime were not taped, the boxes have tab-closure. I must put this comment here because Amazon fulfills the orders, so they delete any negative seller feedback. I guess it's OK for amazon to take responsibility, but it causes us customers to get items that are being sold as new but clearly are not. I bought a pair of these to evaluate, as I had not seen a Pyle woofer/subwoofer in this small of size. The performance is pretty good if you approach them that they are only 3.5", and aren't going to perform miracles beyond their size. But when playing them with midrange and tweeters (with separate amps and an active crossover) they do provide a noticeable bass response. The grilles are nicely-designed. I would give an extra star if they provided Thiele/Small parameters so that 'correct' size enclosures could be built, rather than me guessing at a volume. But perhaps these are intended only for infinite-baffle and/or car-door installations? Oh - and they need to provide correct frequency data, as they list these as being capable of 156k Hz. Is it supposed to be 15.6 kHz, perhaps? When I purchased these they were approx $12.50 ea, but soon thereafter went to $20+. At the higher pricepoint I would look for other brands, but for $12.50 is a fair deal. EDIT - I threw together some tubes for enclosures and these speakers are pretty impressive for their size/cost. I don't have test equipment to determine if 1 size is better, but the video of the smaller white one shows they do have some decent Xmax cone excursion. (it is NOT distorted in the video) ... show more

Used this Pyle sub in a metal ammo box Bluetooth speaker build, using a 2.1 channel amp and some good insulation, it sounds damn good for a tiny $13 subwoofer! I’ve since stocked up on them for future projects.
