    • Christmas tree protection
We have been using these Christmas tree disposal bags for many years to bring the tree into our home removing it plus it helps keep water from overflowing the tree stand on our floor or carpet. When the new tree is outside and the trunk has been recut and stand attached we pull tge bag over the tree from the bottom to top then carry it into our home. With the bag over the tree we do not drop needles all over the carpet and entryway. Then the tree is placed upright with the bag under the tree, stand and over the carpet. If I accidentally add too much water to the stand or spill the bag contains that water keeping the carpet dry. When it's time to remove the tree we pull up the bag over the top of the tree then carry it out of the house without dropping a needle on the floor. When outside we remove the bag and tree stand. A single bag can be used for several years before it tears and needs to be replaced. My wife and I find it an inexpensive investment making cleanup easier and saving our living room carpet. ... show more

I don’t know how in the world this was supposed to be a tree bag. It rips as soon as branches hit the sides. It wasn’t worth the almost 7 dollars for ONE bag. This was just as bad as trying to get good garbage bags at the dollar store. Very cheap! Not worth the price! I bought this so I wouldn’t have a mess in the hallway leading to the exit of the building to where the trash is but I still left a trail. Completely defeated the purpose. ... show more

    • Ripped quickly
The idea is great but the material needs to be more durable to do the job. By the time I got the tree out of the house, there were thousands of needles everywhere as the bag had torn in several places. Better than nothing but needs to be thicker.

    • Good for removing a tree from an apartment
We live in NYC, so we have to drag the tree from our apartment to the curb & like clockwork, we drop a ton of needles in the common hallway & spend a lot of time cleaning. This bag worked out. All the shed needles remained in my apartment & we didn’t have to be *those* people messing up the hallway. Note to NYC dwellers: you can’t leave the bag on the tree when it’s on the curb.
