LOVED this tree so much the first time around, that I bought it a second time! I originally bought this tree in 2019 and was so in love with it. So many of my friends and family bought it when they saw how beautiful it was in my house. I was forced to purchase a new one just a few years later when my original one was damaged in a basement flood. I was devastated, but so happy that I could buy another identical one. HOWEVER, this time around was a lot different than the first. I could tell that the quality of this tree wasn’t as good as the previous one, although it’s the exact same tree, supposedly. It was fine the first year, but noticed that the lights weren’t as bright within only a few weeks of having it up. In the second year, we noticed that lights were going out randomly throughout the tree. Come the following year, more than half of the lights in the tree are already burnt out. I was hoping that I maybe missed connecting a few of the plugs, because those were a bit confusing to figure out to begin with, but that wasn’t the case. I ended up having to add a few strands of lights, which defeated the purpose of purchasing a prelite tree. That brings us to today, where the tree lights are completely out and I am now forced to add multiple strands of lights to the tree, which will get in the way of ornaments and other tree decor, cover a bunch of the white flock, and cause the tree to lose even more of the flock than it already does on its own. It’s very frustrating because I’m almost positive that I received a defective tree because I didn’t experience any of these problems with my first purchase. I was already past the return window before we noticed any of the major issues. I didn’t bother reaching out to Amazon or the seller about this because I figured they couldn’t do anything about it past the 30 days anyway. It’s just really upsetting because I really do love the look and fullness of the tree. You can’t beat the price, but realized you really do get what you pay for. ... show more

I had this tree for 6 years and if I could turn back time I would not have bought it. It is flocked so of course I expected SOME shedding but even from the very beginning this tree produced heaps I mean mounds of shedding each and every year. Even just standing it shed, you looked at it it shed it seemed. I had a red tree skirt that I had to shake out and lint roll and vacuum daily because it’d be covered in the stuff. It was pretty but not like the picture and certainly not worth 200+$. The lights crapped out on it this year which 6 years isn’t a bad run but thought since it’s tree buying season I’d warn others. There are far better trees out there even flocked ones that are way less messy! Don’t waste your money on this tree! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This tree is amazing. Great quality. There were other trees that were available locally for the same price point and not nearly as tall, nor as full as this one. The others were also not pre lit, or flocked. Fluffing didn't take too long, my fiancee and I did it together in around 20 minutes. Assembly was simple. The size was as advertised. Absolutely LOVE this tree. Ours died and I was forced to buy this one. 5 years later it is holding strong and has had no issues with lights going out or anything breaking. The tree is easy to open and fluff, it’s easily assembled however is heavy (given its size), and fits the space really well. The only downfall, it sheds like CRAZY. It sheds the dusty snow all over the place and is itchy if it gets stuck on our clothes and skin. ... show more

I had to stop in the middle of trying to put up the tree to write this review because whew, chile…..”truth is I’m tiiired” *Tamela Mann voice* The absolute STRUGGLE I’m having putting up this tree. Now, I’m no stranger to assembling faux Christmas trees. I’ve put up many a tree in my day, and in fact, this isn’t my first tree from this company. I loved my 7.5 ft tree (unlit) so much that I decided to trust this company again and get the 9 ft (lit). That’s where I messed up. I’m sitting here looking crazy with tree residue in my curls…tired, sweaty, and frustrated with a tree that’s assembled, but only 1/3 of the lights are working. First of all, it took soooo long to assemble the tree because the parts were mislabeled. I had to start over approximately 3-4 times because of this. Took an hour to assemble four tree parts lol! I kept taking it down and assembling it according to their *confusing* instructions and mislabeled parts like, “Maybe it’s me. Am *I* the drama??” It was only when I recognized the labeling errors that I was finally able to assemble the tree. But then I get to the part where you connect the lights and we’re back to square one….crying, throwing up, and frustrated (ok, I may be exaggerating a bit lol)….but definitely frustrated because after all that, only the bottom of the tree is lit. I believe the lights are defective. *le sigh* First and last time I will buy a tree this large that comes pre-lit. Save yourself the hassle and buy one that doesn’t have lights so you, too, won’t have to be sitting here looking crazy like me wondering where did I go wrong in buying this tree lol. I refuse to ship this 63 pound tree back to Amazon, but if the company would like to reach out and rectify this issue, I will gladly change my review to reflect that. In the meantime, I’m off to buy some lights and just use those instead of the ones the tree comes with. Counterproductive af, but alas, what else can I do? Not a bad tree at all once you get the blasted thing up, but pack your patience and again, go for the unlit option! EDIT: The company did reach out to me and offered a fair, partial reimbursement, which I gladly accepted.
