Shell Rotella T6 15W-40 diesel engine oil is a full synthetic motor oil that features exclusive Triple Protection Plus technology, formulated with fully synthetic base oils plus advanced additives to protect against wear, deposits, and oil breakdown. It also provides better low temperature flow and increased fuel economy performance, without compromising durability, compared to conventional SAE 15W-40 oils. Shell Rotella T6 15W-40 Full Synthetic motor oil is suitable for virtually all modern low-emission heavy duty engines and older hard working diesel engines (consult your owner's manual for heavy duty engine oil recommendations). With its wide range of specifications and approvals from many of the world's leading engine makers, it is an excellent choice for on- highway fleets, general haul, construction, agriculture, public-transport operators, and diesel pick-up trucks. Exceeds the requirements of the following industry specifications: API: CK-4, CJ-4, ACEA E9. This stuff just works and it's easy to get whether Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart etc. Been using it in my 2011 Subaru WRX for about 10 years which now has about 165k on the clock and my 2005 Porsche 911 Turbo for 1 year which just clocked over 100k and both love it. Haven't tracked either car yet but both daily, road trip and squeal tire in the canyons without any temp, leak or other issues. YMMV. Sure I change oil and filter every 3-3.5k miles so I can't attest to long interval use but this stuff is just cheap insurance as I plan on putting lots more miles on my cars. Also used to have a street bike (2007 Honda CBR 600rr) and used this too but gave that up after one too many close calls. Oil worked great, potential loss of limb and life not so great. Hence the convertible 911... to slow down and be more 'responsible'. ... show more

I used 3qt for my 2015 FZ09 and the remainder in my Grom. No issues and haven't felt any difference from motorcycle specific oil that costs over 3 times as much. Gear changes are smooth and the clutch bites well

Rotella T6 has proven itself to be an exceptional oil in our fleet over millions of miles. I normally wouldn't buy oil online but it was a significantly better deal than even at the local WallyMart so it was kind of a no-brainer. I was a little concerned about damage in shipment from previous bad experiences ordering automotive fluids online but it was well packaged and wasn't leaking when it arrived which is more than I can say for some other auto and machining fluids I have ordered here! Glad they came out with T6 10w30 finally. Real good oil. Works great in my ram 3500. Gave it a 4 because all 3 gallon bottles had leaked in side the sealed case, lids was not tight. Not sure how much yet. We'll see this coming weekend.
