Love they can be on the sun shelf with no worries about rust. Found a matching umbrella from At Home. Let’s go Summer fun! The assembly is the hardest part of these chairs. I did it by myself, but two people would make the job go more quickly. Once assembled they look great, and they are very comfortable. I highly recommend these lounge chairs

These chairs were perfect for a shallow sundeck, and much cheaper than the $700 plastic ones. But, there is some caution to be taken: --- The assembly instructions are not quite right. Fully assemble the base with the 3 crossbars (not just the 2 end ones) --- of PARAMOUNT importance: The metal frame IS NOT powder coated, it is simply painted with acrylic paints. These paints are fragile and unfortunately assembly requires flipping the arms over to rest on the ground and from the pictures you can see the result. Thats when I found out these were not powder coated. Touchup paint? Contact the Purple Leaf folks.

The assembly was easy, despite some of the other comments, you're basically assembling it upside down but what you need to do is barely put on the screws. Leave them very loose. Then you flip it over on it's correct positioning and make sure it's leveled with the floor while screws are still loose (give it a shake and press down and make sure all 4 legs are touching the floor). Then you tighten the 3 support brackets first (one side at time). After that, you tighten the piece connected to the fabric, I tightened that slowly since you're stretching the fabric for the first time. I bought 4 chairs and 2 end tables (see photo). It took a while due to the tedious hand tightening of each screw with the provided wrench. But all 4 fit perfectly into each hole and was leveled after assembly. If people are commenting saying the screws don't fit into the prefabricated holes, then it's human install error (don't tighten them right away!). I previously had 2 year old metal chaise lounge and they rusted at the legs really bad and left rust stains on my deck. So glad I got these aluminum frame and sleek/modern design and won't have to worry about rust and cleaning rust stains on the deck. I initially saw these at a resort we were staying at and saw the tag at the back, so I researched on Amazon and found them. I like how your legs are down too, and not straight flat like some other chaise lounge chairs. These are really comfy to relax on. Hope these helps!

The biggest complaint about this chair is the assembly. It is time consuming, but not overly difficult. Keep all of the screws really loose. When it comes to the screws that connect the fabric frame to the leg frames, get the screws properly started, but don't tighten them until all screws are connected. My biggest concern is the paint. It scratches easily and exposes the bare aluminum below it. Be extra careful when assembling.

I had a problem with a broken weld on one of the pieces during assembly. Purple Leaf Customer Service was very prompt to get me not only that piece, but a few extra pieces as well for future use if needed. They were quick to reply to emails & the replacement pieces were sent via FedEx for fast delivery at no charge. Excellent product & service, especially considering the price of the initial purchase.
